still have old benq with 1.5 will all my patched to wav3 games work on new dashboard or it has only something to do with lite-on drives?

Ok, so as long as I don't play AP25-enabled games, updating to the new dash should be safe?

Not me though... if I update today, with my LiteOn, I'll lose access to new games that use AP25. So let's hope c4eva brings out LT+ quick sharp!

don't you have a JTAG anyway? Very Happy If I had any other drive than samsung I would not update. I havent, thats why I can still play AP25 games on the liteon Smile

If I didnt have another Xbox I wouldnt do it before the LT+ came out. I use the online console for Arcade games mainly Smile And that I can do with silver, hacked profiles ftw Smile

Maybe MS is fed up with people complaining about being banned, and this is their new scheme. We can only hope tho :/

Let's see, I have one Xenon with and old Xtreme FW, this one broke just out of nowhere, and it wasn't because of overheating/the standard RROD.

One iX 1.6 Zephyr with the standard RROD, gonna fix it when can be arsed Razz Not marked as banned either. But never went online after the last banwave, so who knows.

A 1.6 Falcon working perfectly, for the bedroom.

One Jasper with iX LT that I'm using right now.

And on Wednesday I'm getting my JTAG:ed Jasper Smile

If my iX LT Jasper escapes a ban, I'll play no new releases on it until LT+ comes out.
If it gets banned, I'm getting a non-flashed machine for Live only.

So we'll see Smile

SO what? Elites 120gb have mostly lite on drives? And lite ons are fucked up with 25ap ?

I payed for flashing it over a half a year ago... Guy installed newest fw then... 1.61 lt... r something like that...

It depends on how old your Elite is. My Elite 120GB was a Falcon so it had the BenQ drive, my new Arcade 20GB is a Jasper and has the LiteOn. Luckily for me it's a LiteOn that could just be flashed with the CK3 Probe/Connect Kit -- new LiteOns need to have soldering done before you can flash.

I have jasper . Dunno what the guy did to it (I actually broke my first 360myself 2 years ago trying to flash it and lost the key lol) so about in march when i got this one Elite 120gb jasper, I decided to give it to professional more than do it myself Laughing

And I know that he installed LT firmware... But dunno is it 1.61 or 51.. + or not. Dont remember. It was sure newest thing in february-march avaible for this drive.

So can You make a guess what FW do I have?
Will updating to official dash stop new games from working?

I guess I am already lost becouse i am in 12416 beta Very Happy But it was first kinect beta so It might not have ap25 yet... duno. Dont have fable burned and dont have spare dvd right now to check

If he did it a year ago, you'll have iXtreme 1.6. iXtreme LT only came out this year. Updating to the latest dash WILL stop newer games (that use AP25) working until c4eva releases the new LT+
