Played fifa manager 11 last night...
Trust me its not even worth its own thread.
Wanted to buy a player (for my dutch team) ....but wasnt possible as the player wouldnt get a work permit.
EA YOU DONT NEED A ******* WORK PERMIT IN THE NETHERLANDS.... |
LOL... off course you need a work permit in the Netherlands.
And i must admit while being in here anyway.... i played the fifa manager allmost 8 hours straight now and i cant set myself to install FM2011... I didnt liked all previous fifa versions but dispite of the messy layout i kinda like the game |
NL hasnt got the same rules at when you need to get into the UK. (as a football player) |
Okay but work permit still excists... you remember the transfer of Mido to Ajax this year... He came from england and had to wait on his work permit
Empty again

Ripping the quickstarts, sound, image files (for players and leagues) and what not may shrink it down a bit.
I cant believe its untouched though, if it is real

are you sure? lol how many seasons you made it? you already played this last one? |
Not much. But if I want to buy a house and make babies I will play Sims. |
stupid joke, you know the game wasnt like that. Fifa have a lot of god things, at least i can't win the game in the last 5mins with 3 or 4 goals from one of many 'google stars'.

The first few links on google say Ajax are 25million euro's in debt, dunno how reliable they are of course

Nah Ajax made a rather big loss over the last financial year (again) of some 22mln but they dont have any debt asfar as i know. They actualy stil have alot of money in the bank.
Alot of people read those numbers as debt but its just a loss.
@Lamsednav
If they put debts and inurys into the game then whats the trouble in making it a bit realistic.
In the past if a player had a heavy injury at the start of the season then this was also in the game.
If a player misses the first 6 months of the season due to an inury it should be in the game. Ajax actualy got a new goalie for the season to replace the heavily injured 2nd goalie.

FYI, SI will bring out a patch on the release date which will include various updates on the game like the takeover of Liverpool, injuries, transfers and so on..

I know and i also know that the release day patch usualy doesnt fix most of this stuff.
And like always the players/customers also wont get an answer on why most of the stuff doesnt get fixed.
Its kinda funny that transfers that happened in the last transfer week are in the game but heavy injurys that happened before that arent.
Its just a sad fact that the Dutch researcher is useless. In the past i actualy used to visit the SI forums and most of the researchers tbh are a joke, alot of people that actualy try to contribute get ignored etc.
This isnt the first time the Dutch researcher gets basic stuff wrong.
Im guessing that the only league thats is done wel wil again be the English one.
Maybe il again start with a League 2 team.

May be worth while posting on Si's forum in the research section, they are usually pretty receptive to data errors, as they pride themselves on the database.

Like others ive done so in the past with every FM game but like many others i just stopped visiting the SI forums.
If you post something in the bugs section you get a response saying you should post it in the specific league thread.
In the league thread you usually you get no response at all. I guess that is because 99% of the posts are from kiddies demanding a higher PA for some player or unrealistic change in stats and researchers are to busy discussing with those people.
Tbh this is IF the researcher for that country actualy is around.
Like said the effort put into the DB is diffrent from league to league.
I guess like every FM game im stuck to changing the DB myself.
@BlackS0ull
Whats the exact problem with the fixtures? There not being any?
Try to set some yourself or make it so your assistent sets them.

Not really, no.
The best version for that I think is CM 01/02. It was/is (legally) free to download on the internet but for whatever reason I can't get it to work.

Unless there is some game out there using a better (and/or) more accurate database with even a quarter of the features in Football Manager 2011 it's sort of a moot point isn't it?

And that is the sad part. Even with all the basic stuff thats wrong in the DB Fm is stil the best manager around.
@shadowbane
You can switch 3d off and then set game speed to maximum.
2010 had a mod that upped the max game speed.

football.manager.2011-eng/rus-p2p works fine. not need a crack, cuz game mounted in DTL 4.35 works great. english language which is not available in this iso can be added from different source. other languages dont work.
