have you tried clicking on the arrows that opens the quest lines?

I went to a market stall , the guy said i need to deliver a package to another guy in the merchant market. Clicked on my quest book and only the main quest lines are showing up even with clicking on the arrows. Nothing whatsoever about the package quest i was just given

Download this ( RUN SPEED TWEAK ! )
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlitebrowser/

Open your savegame.dsa with this program and execute the following SQL statement:
update _INSTANCE_PC set RunSpeed=5.0, CurrentSpeed=5.0, MaxVelocity=5.0;

Save. Load game. Note how walking/running speed is now bearable.

Same here. I thought it was a design decision not to include side quests in the quest log. So this is a bug in the end? Bummer...

Are you talking about the merchant stall in the Harbor? If so it's not the merchant quarter you need to go to. Head out the North Gate of the city and you'll find a small inn with a bar located on its side. Give the package to that dude.

I don't think it's a bug, the small errands are not in the quest log since they're not really quests.

Good game, though the original's budget feel is still present. People who liked the original will like this one too since most aspects have been improved.

is it like it was in the first one, that you have to redo it every time you gain a party member (to update their move speed as well) or is it a one time deal this time around?

Graphics are pretty good for an RPG. Up your settings? Controls take getting used to and teh camera can go crazy at times, but it's intuitive after a couple of minutes. The UI looks clumsy and boring? What?
The inventory system is shit though. What year is this? 1999? Where are the fookin item categories?

How important is Bowyer and Blacksmithing in this one? Will I be able to create unique weapons? Or is it just some standard weaponry like in most RPGs?

I couldn't buy any bows so I had to invest in bowyer skills and buy recipes to actually make a better bow (nothing unique though, just some +2 bow). But I'm still in the first town, so maybe later on it will change. Same with armor, the blacksmith doesn't sell anything worthwhile, so maybe making some yourself is a good idea.

I'm playing with an archer and I'm not sure how to invest the leveling points. The bows skill is maxed at 12 I think (wtf?) so now what? I could go for the attributes I guess (INT, AGL and STR for archers I think)...

Warrior classes get advanced training at the barracks
Thieves have Thieves Guild quests
Mages work for the mage
Hippies work for a pointy-eared tree hugger

I don't know how many quests there are, sorry.

What Items can I sell? I have a full inventory from too much pick pocketing.

Does having more people in your group give you more inventory space?

How soon will I get more people?

The quest log not updating on side quests is a bad crack bug according to dtp.
Found that out by some careful questioning...
I suppose there is a need to wait for better crack, God knows what other problems could be there closer to the end.

I'm a bit confused by blacksmithing. I'm creatiing an ornate longsword with 1D6+3HP damage, but the result is a crappy 1D3 sword. Skill is at 18. How is this possible?

The sidequests don't show in the journal if you use Reloaded crack. Also bits from the other classes advanced training quests spawn in Nadoret (and they shouldn't, as each class has its own set of advanced training).

@Mister_s the crafting skills are very important. Those are saving loads of money. Also you get some items that you woldn't get otherwise. Master crafting skill it's 20 (25 should be the one that guarantees that the master recipes will not fail when crafted).

The elf girl it's awesome as support (has the summon companion spell, and used properly she kicks arse). Use the active pause in combat and make Fayris to use her skills, thus not letting her to pepper arrows like an idiot. I play as a rogue and she saved my arse more times than i expected. Add Forrgrimm as a tank and you get a hell of a team. As a rogue I have quite a few skills that I need (compared to a fighter orientated class). So Fayris it's like plant gatherer (survival, plant lore, animal lore) and skinner.Give her the right arrows and she will pour over your enemies a reign of poison, flames or just plain old arrows. Cano it's the fourth member for now, but i intend to boot him once i find something more useful for my rogue.

There is a mini-image for the polish version, maybe it works with the english one, if the crack is bad.

EDIT: I think links to cracks and mini-images are not allowed.

The problem is that items are a lot weaker than what is stated in the recipe. The ornate longsword should be really powerful judging by the recipe, but I get a crappy sword when I actually make it (still named ornate longsword though). Forgrimm's skill is at 18, so that shouldn't be the problem. Or does the creation actually fail resulting in an inferior product?

If it is crack related, I hope the save games aren't fucked Crying or Very sad

PS. bowyery has teh same problem btw. The recipe says the Orcish bow should have 1D6, but the resulting bow is 1D4.

The result it's based on your skill. If a recipe says that you get an items with those stats, you should get that (provided that you have the apropriate level for that recipe. If you try a master recipe, 20 at skill it's minimum to get a chance to craft that item. Let's hope there isn't another missed trigger by Reloaded and the crafting it's fragged too.

There's a german mini image on GCW that you can mount in your physical drive with virtual cd. I'm testing to see if it will work now.

My copy comes next week ( a friend from Holland bought it for me from muizenshop and send it with the normal mail ). But face it: how many quests you've had in Nadoret that didn't appear in your journal? The tinder fungus, the frog legs and a lot of others. Doesn't make any sense. In the first Drakensag all the quests were listed. Here, a lot of them don't appear in the journal. plus those bits of quests that shouldn't be there. I've picked in the german walkthrough and I've seen bits of quests from the ranger training and from the fighter training that appeared in the path of my rogue character. That couldn't be right.
