If there were a huge potential issue I would agree, and have probably bought Nvidia hardware again. Ironically, there is none let alone a "huge potential issue". Shader 2 is capable of doing almost everything Shader 3 can do. The only reason why NV introduced Shader 3 is that, whatever they did, they could not compete with ATi's Shader 2 speeds. So, it's Nvidia's primary goal to get rid of Shader 2 as soon as, and, whereever possible. To me it seems they're investing big money in that "mission". SC3 is an example.

they took 5 days to crack silent hunter, this is the same sf3 version so expect chaos theory out this week end

Game is GREAT, just played the SP mode for 3 hours straight.

The main thing that has changed in the single player mode is that the maps are now huge, and you are offered multiple methods of doing things instead of "Here is what you have to do, now figure out how to do it."

Multiplayer is phenomenal. Again, the main improvements here are in level design.

I havent gotten a chance to check out the coop mode, waiting for a friend of mine to buy it first.

This time you don't have to play it as a sneak em up, you can go kinda rambo too, I think.

I care that this game looks good and you finally have a knife and the locations are bigger and supposed to have more then one way so its not really that linear i think it kicks ass after playing demo.

heh sf3 dll is 20mb so better dont expect it too fast Smile

The game run perfect on my comp with sf3 so stop bitching about sf3 and go buy your uncracked games dudes. You don t like just sf3 and games wich use it because it s the best protection sys ever and so you have to buy to play...that s all. Rolling Eyes

i never managed to get my toca2 working... not without disinstalling all my nero burning rom, clonecd and dtools stuff, my pc took 2 minutes to start, everything thanks to the protection.
i returned the game to the shop and bought painkiller and never bought again a sf3 game. and believe me, i'm one of the guys who buy a lot of games when they like them

And so what is the point ? They were not talking about the game running fine or not with or without sf3 but they just said that buying the game would encourage development of sf protections.
