I just re-applied the original one after the most recent update.
Don't click the MODupdater.exe or the Startmenu shortcut (if it's the one installation created). Click on the MOH.exe (after you've replaced it with the original crack) and it will boot right up without the "checking game version" screen.
Worked for me, anyways. I'm using the "zhonguo" crack, btw.

this game is such a lame, developers should stop to hurt the brain of free downloaders. Very bad graphics for 2010 standards, lame story of good American vs bad Orientals of course and, more, very stupid A.I.

I don't recall any Orientals in MoH? Or is he talking about a different MoH? I haven't played all of them so I could be wrong here hehe.

AFAIK an oriental does not have to be asian but is also what you would call a middle-eastener and even people in India and Pakistan are called orientals. I could be wrong tho...

I honestly have no idea, I just remember "The Oriental Express" and I know it went through India and shit so I'm just connecting the dots.

Quote: | Eurogamer: Was the controversy surrounding the setting of the game distracting?
Patrick Liu: Of course we were aware of what was happening around us. At the same time we needed to focus on making the actual game. For me personally, I don't mind the setting so much, whether it's controversial or not. We focused on the gameplay. Theoretically, it could have been a sci-fi game and still have the same mechanics. That's something I hoped our PR people would take care of – the controversy.
Eurogamer: Do you feel Medal of Honor met quality expectations?
Patrick Liu: The controversy did affect some reviews, I think. |

Once again the incredible intellectual honesty of nowadays developers shines so brightly that they can't even admit that their game SUCKS.

Yeah, the single-player portion of the game sucked because of the controversy and not because it was just plain...

well that was the shortest game I ever played, and they charge 50 euro's for it, I am not paying for fps shooters anymore
I never had the feeling during the game that I was free in going through a level, the entire game is an on rail shooter and scripted, and I think more cutscenes than gameplay, in that respect I liked Crysis, Farcry better, although they had their faults of course
hell as long as they sell well, they keep making them, no replay value at all (sp I mean)
Most shooters, at least the sp part are shit nowadays, I think a few lights on the horizon like the new Crysis and Rage, maybe Deus ex

I got this game from EA Store, but hell, 12GB is simply to big to DL. And what's more, I found I have no installation files in cache folder although I had "Keep installation files after game have benn installed". Will the game work if I download a clone-dvd release from the net? Or will I have to use crack?

Seems that a sequel is in the works:
Quote: | Medal of Honor developer Danger Close Games is currently hiring for a new first person shooter game, which sounds like a sequel to its recent Medal of Honor reboot to us.
As of this month, the Los Angeles-based studio is on the lookout for a lead gameplay engineer and a weapons and vehicles artist to work on an "unannounced AAA first person shooter title", according to job ads on Gamasutra.
Back in November, EA CEO John Riccitiello said October's Medal of Honor reboot was "absolutely [a] clear success".
"Consumer feedback has been strong to suggest that we've got a franchise now, once again, that we could successfully and effectively sequel in the future," he added. |

They launched their store yesterday/today I think. They already own D2D.

Then why play this game? It's meant to cater to the COD derps who must have silly death streaks to not get bored.
I suggest BFBC2, which is very similar in gameplay, only a lot better, and no killstreak nonsense.

Because MoH is infantry only (well most of the time) while BC2 has a bunch of vehicles.
Yes, I'm also playing MoH online quite abit, even with all it's flaws...it could have been really really great tho.
