Well just checked.. the CHEAPEST in retail here is $76.9787 USD (however our dollar is worth a fuckload at the moment.. so thats the usual price for a game here (it aint changed.. but that used to be like the equiv of $50 USD when our currency was average)

I payed 56$ (296 Dkr) at D2D and that was with the 25% discount and 11$ of taxes (I really love my Country's taxation laws...NOT!).

Most of us aren't overly pleased by it. I do understand WHY we can't host our own dedicated servers, it just sucks that only one game company can host them... it would be better if a bunch of the most well known and trusted providers could have the software.

Activision got a ton of money to do it and you know how greedy they are.

The game is not unlocked in this region, but with this guide, i´m able to play mp in english having bought a russian key.
My tutorial is for those people:
- got the ENGLISH original PRELOAD version
- got a NON-ENGLISH key activated in Steam
- want to play using ENGLISH language in MULTIPLAYER ONLY
Download: http://ul.to/hvx9uz
Russian to English (99%, some texts are placeholders, but not Russian):
- have an original unmodified EN PRELOAD version from steam somewhere in a safe place (you can get this one from the internet, torrent for example)
- clear your "steamapps/common/call of duty black ops" folder
- copy the content of your original english preload "call of duty black ops" into it
- copy "call of duty black ops english.ncf" from the toolbox.rar archive/enc folder into your steamapps folder, replacing the original one (if present)
- open CF Toolbox, right click "call of duty black ops english", "apply update", select "call of duty black ops english.0_to_0.update.gcf"
-> this should result in decrypted "zone" files, aswell as "main/video" files with a new modified date, and the "localization.txt" with English content
- copy the "localized_English_****.iwd" files from "main/" to a safe plaace
- copy the "main/video" folder to a safe place
- copy localization.txt and "zone/English" to a safe place
- clear your "steamapps/common/call of duty black ops" folder, copy the content of your original english preload "call of duty black ops" into it
- start Steam, it should start decrypting (both Singleplayer and Multiplayer have to be on the "updating" state, if they were paused before)
-> this *should* download the Russian version of the game
- close Steam, replace all the things you copied to a safe place into your new fresh Russian Black Ops, including localization.txt
- copy "call of duty black ops english.ncf" from the toolbox.rar archive/dec folder into your steamapps folder (CFToolbox should display version 1 now)
- copy the contents of http://www.megaupload.com/?d=I78MJOKK to your Black Ops folder and replace everything (thx d4rk99), should enable 100% of the English strings
- start Steam, start Multiplayer, enjoy your English Black Ops multiplayer
The Singleplayer won't get English from this, I guess, I'm checking that out currently.

Game itself is wonderful, but serious launch issue is freezing every 30sec-1min. I hope it will be fixed today, as it's only issue I have with the game, and it's very very annoying.
