I purchased the game using proxy/gamersgate check out this thread on the official TW2 forums..

Trick is to use the proxy and buy the game, and wait for you to get the e-mail about completing the purchase (to the e-mail account you used when making an account)..

then open that e-mail and click on the link that says something like "complete purchase" and use that link to then complete the purchase NOT using the proxy.. and there ya go done.

BTW i dunno why but using the complete purchase link brought up gamersgate and the right price, but the page was in german *shrug* not like it is hard to tell what you do though!

btw you want to get as far as selecting a payment method when using the proxy, after that it should say something about needing a secure connection (and it won't even work through the proxy beyond that point) then you get the e-mail and use the link inside it..

hope this helps.. the thread i linked too has a much better description of what to do i suspect.

Here in Korea Two Worlds 2 is showing up on Gamersgate, for $49.99. Haven't tried buying it yet. Is it coming on Steam? I'd rather get it there with everything else.

How many activations do you get with this?
I want to install this on my XP and W7 partitions....

Bought it from gamersgate.co.uk, even though I put on my gg account that I'm in United States. Worked fine. Downloading now at 1.91 MB/sec.

I was going to so pirate this game, since TW1 was "Meh" (But great graphics). And Combat was just too easy. But you guys said TW2 is a great game, so I trusted you guys so I am a legal customer now. Just hope you guys were right...

This is my first time buying a game with "limited activations".

(Of course you can always use a scene crack if you don't care about Multiplayer, if we ever get one, for a legit copy Smile

Usually it's by uninstalling the game properly, as in not by formating HDD Razz Or there is a program to give back activations.

How far 'in' should you be to start enjoying it? I'm 1hr in and Arcania still seems to be better.

I only played for about 30min yesterday, because i was already tired :O. It was nothing really special. But i think it's just the beginning, because it's only some kind of intro island. So no free roam yet.

Press escape and enter them in the menu there for bonus codes.

They're

3542-3274-8350-6064 (Elexorien Sword of "Something whatever it was, unsure" - Kit Rae)
(Requires level 15 so somewhat of a low-end/mid-end weapon.)

4149-3083-9823-6545 (Dragon Scale Armor set, only one item but covers more I think.)
(Also about level 15 or so to use.)

6972-5760-7685-8477 (Labyrinth)
(This is part of the bonus quest I think, gives you a old dirt scroll, unsure how it works.)

Gamersgate seems to have all editions available to me, but no"Royal Edition" what's that?
I only see an english language, spanish, french, german , etc.

Took nearly two hours to explore the tutorial like island and some of the fights were quite tough, near level 6 now and can soon wield much better items, it's worth exploring both for XP and hidden items, there's three or so hidden chests in the start tower alone plus a set of jaws with gold teeth in them whatever they're for. Razz
(Lots of items but most lower-class stuff was broken down into materials for future crafting once I find the books and level the actual skill up somewhat.)
