Playing it now. Had to install DirectX at end in order to run. Typical 20-40 FPS..playable on 1680x1050 res. Fun stuff! I dont care for the movie clips. If I want to watch a movie, Ill watch it on my 50" TV. I play games to play, not watch clips and acting.
Anyways, much better than the Nintendo WII. Wii graphics are horrible. The controls with the nunchuch and wiimote are aweful. Give me mouse/keyboard anyday. Will play this to the end.
My other favorite game is MW2..multiplayer..

Q6600 stock @ 2.4Ghz, 4GB DDR2-667 and a 4850 512MB DDR-5.
Doesn't run as smooth as MW2 (maxed details, 2xAF, 1440x900) but I also didn't notice stuttering like alot of people are reporting here. It's still really playable and smooth, but, like I said before, not as smooth as MW2. Graphics looks quite nice though, faces especially!
And for the whole MoH vs BO discussion: MoH was really REALLY bad and a real letdown. Atleast BO delivers some facepaced and adrenaline pumping action, something MoH lacks (imo).

What? For your knowledge, I don't have any stuttering, the game works just fine for me and as I said I don't care about the multiplayer part of the game. |
Fyi; atm it would seem there are more people having lagg issues than those who doesnt.
Both people with highend computers and those with minimum required ones.
I got a medium ranged box and i also got the lagg/stuttering.
Then again i didnt have any issues you stated you had with cod:waw.
It runs smooth on my machine with everything maxed out...

No, it wasn't better. For me it was the worst CoD ever (don't know about 3 because I didn't played it), I didn't even finished it, that's how bad it was for me. I remember yesterday that someone said that CoD WaW had perfect performance. Again, no, it doesn't have that. It was stuttering like hell for me, couldn't activate AA because the fps dropped at "picture after picture" state, same when there was some smoke. And no, those are not the things that made me to uninstall the game before I even finished it. It was the game itself, it was one of the most boring games I ever saw, same shit that I played years ago, recycled mostly from Pacific Assault. And I say again, MoH is much more better than this. I always liked the MoH games more. It's not hollywood shit all over the place to impress people only with some scenes. |
Moh's ending got "hollywood" written all over it. You couldnt get anymore cliché even if you tried.
I wont say what happens just in case there still are anyone out there eager to play through that turkey.
And about your "issues" with cod:waw but cod:bo runs flawless, well i just dont know what to believe.
As far as moh "impressing", meh, mediocre gameplay at best.
Multiplay was kinda fun, but still nothing mindblowing.
I'd take cod:waw mp anyday over moh.
Atleast i can do what i want (almost) with my dedicated server...

I keep looking for the engineer that is steering this crap. It is so fast paced and LINEAR, there really is no time to enjoy the graphics.
