Guys I have a very easy method of detecting fakes, simply look at the file sizes, the most common fakes are rars within rars, where the second rar collection is pwed. This double rarring decreases the filesize slightly. Downloading the largest release will often catch you the good one. Also look at where its uploaded, a true release will often be uploaded in all the game related binaries. Also check the uploader, if teevee uploaded it dont download it from an uploader called tevee or teewee.
Using these few checks will get you through 99% of all fakes.

That would be cool. You can get a village in this game though.
the instructions say that i should block my EXE with the firewall.
so a few questions:
1) how do i block a file with the windows stock firewall?
2) do i need to block the file forever or only for the first time i try to run the game?
3) what happens if i try and run the game without blocking the EXE?

about how it stands compared to arcania -
i didnt play yet but TW2 is an open world game. its not divided to sections. it has 3 islands but u can go anywhere. also i think combat is slightly deeper but the animations dont look as good (my opinion). TW2 has horse riding (forums members say its a lil hard to control the horse though), sailing, buying, selling, character costumization... the works. the german reviews of TW2 say a lot of great things about the game, that it's really long (tons of missions) and really deep. it is just a much more ambitious game than arcania.
No need to install some 3rd party crap, just Run (as in, Windows button => Run...=>wf.msc) the Windows Firewall with Advanced Security and you can setup each program you want to block individually.
yes but that means you have to create the rule before the install in some cases,some programs will access the net during the install phaze.
with the notifier you can block everything and as you are notified allow it through or not
realistically microsoft should have a user interface for its firewall else less than 1 in a 1000 know how to make use of it.

Download only first .rar part and see what's inside it.
Seems incredibly small (for todays standard ) get rid of the non English install files and its only about 3.5 gig. I expect this has been discussed in this huge thread already but I cant be arsed to plough through it all.
