Might be a stupid question i dunno, but if you spoof a liteon to a hitachi 46d does the software detect that it is a 46d and skip the ap or is it the drive that matters? Cause i have a liteon spoofed as a hitachi 46d.

That I'm really not sure about it, bud. As far as I'm aware, it's the drive itself - and not the firmware - that is AP25 compliant. Apparently AP25 has been in 360 drive firmwares since the beginning, but the older Hitachi drives didn't actually support it.

I've read that you get banned from spoofing drives now. Might be bs, but who knows. Guess i'm fucked as my old drive doesn't work properly anymore.

As I understand mate that info on dash is not from abgx..he tried it..but Im not sure I believe him 100%,we just have to wait for more info.
Maybe I rushed this info,I want to play this so badly like u guys..

Look at the top of the page, my man =) I posted the ABGX360 log -- nowhere does it state anything about having/needing the Kinect dashboard *except* that it could be guessed via the fact the game is Wave9.

well i have liteon drive flashed to 1.5(i think) . i have been patching games down to Wave 3 for a year now. i never go online. i have the beta dash and played Fable 3 to completion with no problem. i use 360 wave patcher and when i went to patch ACB. it threw a warning that it couldn't find wave. i still patched it down to wave 3 and am in the middle of buring. Will be testing shortly. dunno if this helps anyone. ill update when I test.

The beta Kinect dash doesn't have AP25 fully implemented, so AP25 games works fine.

i also have a liteon with 1.5 and i patch my games down to wave 2! so i'm looking forward to your test and hope it works! |

not sure which FW i got, the one which used the boot disc 1.51 or 1.6 can't remember.
Have not upgraded, because the fucker is slowly breaking down haha.
But Fable 3 worked fine on it.

I have an old hitachi, ixtreme 1.51 I believe.
Updated to the latest firmware (damn kinect)
I'll let you know if it works in ~30 mins

Just check if it prompts you to install an update when you try to boot the DVD.
