Do you have a site for the source of this information..?
I'm also to understand that WAVE patching games will remove the need to update your dashboard because it is stored in the video partiton. I have a Lite-On running Ixtreme 1.51 and I wave patch all my games to Wave 3 and have never had any issue booting games. Please let us know the outcome of patching Brotherhood and playing it on the Kinect dash.
I would think that running the beta dash there is some version difference between the two. The whole reason I've never update the dash is because of this ap2.5 shit and games with it not booting. If I could run the beta dash and it would work and not needing update I would do it. I can obtain the files for the beta dash, so not a problem.

Just check if it prompts you to install an update when you try to boot the DVD. |
Well i got a disk unreadable but it is installing to hdd . so ill try to play after the install..

Burning atm. I dont use my x360 much. Thing I have iXtreme 1.61 or whatever and some really old dash version. Havent had it connected to the net since the day I bought it atleast so we'll see what happens.

It obviously won't work on the new dash, as people over at 360iso have confirmed the same with a screenshot on a Lite-On drive.

sources say two things :
1) AP25 dash will not run this game , but it works after installing to hdd and running other games like castlevania and then this game, just like Fable 3 works this way on the new dash
2) Wave 3 patcher removes the update and you can run this game normally

I am down to 2 DL's so i hope i don't end up burning a few coasters.
What wave was Fable3 ?
Because that one worked fine on my box, did not ask for a update either.
Box has being banned for over a year or so.

Ok game does NOT boot from disk or after HDD install. looks like im either waiting for a new fw or fix .. maybe its time to get a PS3 and look into Jailbreaking.
So as of now.. looks like not many games will boot until something new is changed.

Well, it seems posting it two times doesn't make it clear so I'm gonna write it again - WAVE3 PATCHED+OLD DASH AND THE GAME STILL ASKS FOR UPDATE!

wow that really sucks. Okay so waiting on fix or fw update. I played Fable 3, I heard it has some kind of security to flag ur box. Did I screw my chances up of getting new fw to play future games? or is it only about getting banned from Live, cause my box is allready banned if thats the only downfall I dont care.
