I haven't even bothered. The servers are located in Dallas and every other game I play besides this one that has servers in Dallas always shows about the same amount of latency. I'd suspect the particular servers you are trying to play on are just shitty ones having issues, or there is a problem with the connectivity in between.
I just meant the ping which is shown in the server browser. All the danish, german and dutch servers are showing 35-40 ping here. Which would be good. Unfortunately, once connected and playing the score-window is showing 65-70 latency on all of them. For some reason, just about everyone seem to be having that exact same latency.
No because i can play COD4/5 in a brazilian server with 70-100ms, and never go higher than 100, explain me that.
And are these CoD4/5 dedicated servers located on the same hardware as the CoD6 ones? Are they in the same rack? Are they in the same place in Brazil?
They are in the same place in brazil, atleast the same city, so the same distance from my home.
If you think that they have hosted the server in a shitty hardware/connetion how could i play for hours with 90ms and then jump to 200ms? while my connection has suffer no changes.
I repeat its not only my problem. I'm reading that people in Australia are having the exact same issue, and I don't care who is the responsible of the problem, treyarch, activision, gameservers, i just want a fix.
i completed this game yesterday. it took around 6 hours 25 minutes to beat. i skipped all skip-able cutscenes.
the graphic is really nice for the genre. i really like how they handle the particle effects like dirt and snow.
the video flash backs make me ill with all the rapid flashing light sequences.
the varieties in gameplay is nice. i actually like the sr-71 blackbird sequence. that's just too cool zooming in from the plane to the ground. i wished the sequence was longer.
while other timed sequences like trying to get on the boat in 5 seconds i like not so much. i had to repeat that sucker like 14 times.
i was surprised by the attention to detail put into the underwater world in the vietnam sequence. i could see a water snake while swimming underwater! also, the brown contrast while you're underwater is very poignant.
the topping on the cake i think is the zombie mode you unlock after beating the campaign. jfk randomly spouting out one liners as he/you shoot at the undead is super cool. i like the 'boarding up' doors for points. it adds a nice touch.
anyway, i'll probably re-play the zombie mode some more. the single player campaign probably not. overall, though...it's a good cod entry.
I play BO on my laptop with ati 4650 and have regular 40 FPS with no lags (playing on Italy server). I really don't understand what you guys whining about. Dual core + 4xxx series and game should run normal. If you have lags then it's your problem, not the game optimization. I admit that optimization is poor, but sometimes you really cross the line.
do you realize what you say is truly stupid ? Look at what you just come to say: " not the game optimization. I admit that optimization is poor" THIS game has wonderful cinematic effect, BUT is shitty too because of its very bad lag problem. That's a fact, not the fault of users, WAKE UP.
What a piece of shit this multiplayer is, constant freezes (only ctrl+alt+delete works). Fucking low fps, imba lag aswell. Also Ranks resets sometimes to previous level.
MP would be pretty much best what i have played, if these fucking bugs (or are they bugs at all?) would be fixed :/
Just play BC2 already it is and always was the most superior online FPS. COD mp was trash after 4 and 4 was trash.
I wish people would stop supporting shit games it seems the more cod games come out the worse they are and more people buy them. Interesting about teh gpu scaling, when i used diff resolutions I noticed teh desktop doing odd shit with its scaling, even when the drivers are set to scale with full gpu use.. wonder how it will run if I turn off gpu scaling see if it makes things better till patch.
I also have to wonder if its a dual montior thing as well thats not helping along with drivers and the game.
Now this really is weird. I was checking my server some minutes ago to see who was playing.
In the players list I can see 7 different columns. Id/Name/Guid/ip adress/team/score and ping.
Under team it usually says 0,1 or 2. I *think* 0 is for spectator or just logging on (pretty much the same thing) and 1 or 2 is the actual team. However, I had this guy playing who had no number as a team. It said "Allan" instead! Wtf?? Anyone know what this is all about??
