I have a Elite K7S5A Motherboard and want DDR Ram I should get for it..

I looked in the Manual and it says "DDR Ram upto 266mhz"

Does that mean I can only get some PC2100 Ram OR could I get PC3200 Ram and the Motherboard will use it like the speed of PC2100 Ram ???

i think its the bus that comes with it.
ex.

Kingston Dimm 1024Mb DDR SDRam PC2700 333Mhz, so with busspeed of 333mhz.
so you could buy pc3200 with 266mhz.

i think that is how its put together.

Isnt the 2700 or 3200 the bus speed in a different name? Anyway any RAM can work on SLOWER speeds, not the other way around. (You cant run PC2100 at 400MHz).

So yes u can use PC3200.
