was going to discuss the trailer yesterday but saw NOONE had put up a post yet. i swear u people are so lazy. personally i couldnt be fucked making a topic, but im glad one of you lazy bastards did

i love green lantern. was super looking forward to this. but trailer... fuck.. that took the wind out of my sails, im seriously worried now. some of the acting looks terrible, it looks kinda cheesy, and some of the action sequences have this crappy low-end feel... i dont mean the fx, but just how the action sequences LOOK... i mean a great action sequence with poor cgi can still look badass... a lot of the stuff here looks kinda amateurish and just lack that epic 'feel', which i really wasnt expecting from campbell.
but who knows, right? its not hte first time a GOOD movie has had a bad trailer, right? i still have hopes for this, but yeah... im definately concerned...
to me, the green lantern benchmark has been set by the, frankly, fucking awesome first flight animated flick...
he's awesome. gl is a cocky hero. rr plays an awesome cocky character. awesome in blade 3, awesome in wolverine origins even tho for a bit and will be awesome if deadpool gets made \o/

That's my problem with Reynolds.
As far as I can remember, he ALWAYS plays the same cocky character.
That's why even though I liked the trailer, I've already seen this Hal Jordan more than once.

he adds to his characters once a while and he has charisma... doesn't matter if you seen his hal. or wade, or that guy from blade 3 before... it's always a treat. just hope the script is epic and he has decent one liners. and not like the shit ones in the trailer

Well the acting talent is so high on this one, CGI is not really that important. It's all about the great script and the acting.

Not to mention that the Green Lantern character is not exactly the coolest superhero ever...will Aquaman be the next one?
