lulz.... so you've all just bought your swanky new DX11 cards and you're all happy, right? Wait tll you run 3DMark 11. Be prepared to sob bitterly as you get single digit framerates Gotta hand it to 'em, nobody makes gamers cry more than Futuremark

Hehe yeah, well I never care for the marks, I just want to see the graphics (and usually end up deleting the whole thing afterwards).

Nah it'll most likely be a DX11 only, like Vantage is for DX10.

Some of Vantage looks like crap. The first GPU test is fucking horrendous and I'm absolutely astounded as to why it runs so poorly... but New Calico looks gorgeous. The rest are all just physics benchmarks.

I was planning on doing it a few weeks ago, but with the money I had - I wouldn't have been able to do a proper upgrade (CPU+GPU+Cooler+HDD) that I initially wanted. Instead I bought a Wii/PS3 and spent the rest making sure my England trip was fun I don't think my GPU is ageing any time soon, still runs everything almost flawlessly at my native rest (1680x1050) - so it's really just a processor I need now. Ideally I want a Q9xxx (i5/i7 would mean replacing EVERYTHING and I just can't afford that ) as that would be cheap-ish and I'd just drop it onto my existing 775 board.

I think I will stick to my trusty e6600@3Ghz+4870 for some more time, since it can run almost everything at decent framerate, and no extremely demanding game is on the horizon Random creations of an insane mind / Screens from Bulgaria [Early Access]
