I heard the lockpick spell is bugged and actually breaks whatever's inside the chest. True?

Kicking a locked chest (Bashing it actually.) will destroy part of what was inside if it's random items, as intended, however, using a spell will bug out and empty the chest entirely apparently though I've only managed to create low-level lock opening spells so I've never tried this myself.

Yes, magic would prevent this and will probably be fixed in the next patch since it's a very well known issue the way it's been discussed on the Zuxxez forums, lockpicking is for now the only safe way to get all the content.
(Ofcourse there's no way to know if it was a trap, potion, scroll or piece of equipment that got destroyed if it even works that way at all, could be random in how much is destroyed and what.)

Ugg i have a problem i need help with. i was messingaround with the console and now i have this message on my screen that will not go away!. can someone help me get rid of it?
i have tried every console command i can think of. i think i was tring to get an item name when it happened.

ec.getcreatestring?

It's used for the Create command to determine ID's of various stuff though not everything in the game is compatible with it (Cassara for example.) and not everything works with Create either (Orc_Assassin for example for DarPha) but otherwise it does (NPC_5000 to 5010 for the endgame content for example, yes there is ID's for over a 1000 different NPC models at least though many of these are also creatures like Varn, Scapulari and such variants.)

Display.clear, showdisplay, hidedisplay (1/0) were all used to reset such text outputs and similar or could be used for it atleast, however this doesn't work in TW2, once you've used that command you have to load a older savegame or it'll be permanent.
(Mine says Ost_SP3 for that Guardian I posted images of a while ago, hah, one of the reasons I disable the HUD for screens and such.)


EDIT: Stomach problems? can't say I have had much of that at all, maybe I misunderstood though.
(Yeah I do tend to answer a lot of questions if that's what you mean, hah.)

It's a bit unknown at the moment what that refers to, it doesn't quite work like that at least as there's only five pieces to each armor (Gloves, Boots, Pants, Helmet and Chest.)

How many chapters are there in this game ? I'm at chapter 4 and I feel it is the end. The thing is I didn't get to explore the last island except from castle Walkmar or something like that and the Swamps.

I've explored everything now and besides what I posted in the above image it's mostly empty beaches or rocky cliffs wherever you go, there are some natural vistas and jungle areas plus some more northern European (Or what to call it.) settings but it's completely unused aside from some wolves placed around, some jungle areas also exist but it's the same there though boars and panthers instead of wolves, outside of that there's just a few Scapulari camps.

Going trough the map image and raiding the last couple of dungeons on the available islands, wasn't much that I missed but I've noticed two quest "locked" areas though those might have been for stuff I've already done if you do a different decision or choice.
(Dungeons are pretty generic and disappointing actually in how there's very little variety to their design, monsters encountered and loot outside of quest specific stuff.)


EDIT: Further images, mostly as the above but was cut as they were rather silly.

Isn't that "big" patch mostly meant to add more multiplayer content?
Or will they sell that as a DLC :O

There aren't many viable targets though as they only work against NPC's (And monsters.) plus they must be idle, there are some though so for the skills not to work at all is a bit of a issue.

Hey guys. I am having a serious problem with the game. I started playing this on my laptop because I didn't have my main PC. now copied my saves over and started playing it on my Desktop PC. It was good for a little while, no crashes. but it started crashing every 5 minutes with error message. now even worse each time I try to save my game it crashes error! never had any issues with laptop just this PC.

my specs; i7 920, 6gb ddr3, HD 5970 etc

way to resolve this? please help Smile thanks!

Try to disable Catalyst AI via the CCC panel if you use a older driver version, might help if it's a Crossfire issue.

Also make sure the game is patched to 1.01 and have the latest PhysX drivers installed from NVIDIA's website instead of what came with the game which might help but that's just a recommendation.

Nothing else I know which can help unless the error code in the crash window info can say more.

There is no level cap either, you'll end up around 50 if you do everything, any further will require a lot of XP as there isn't much that scales up that high, MP is about 35 - 45 without grinding too much, PvP and grinding have seen other players to as high as 70 something though.
