3 fans are marked, front and side sucking air in, back one goes out.

Looks well enough I guess. You definitely should ramp up the fan speed though. 40% obviously isn't enough. Try to get the temperature to 90degrees; personally I'd never run a card at 100degrees for an extended period of time; minutes at most. Also, if the vRAM gets to hot it will automatically downclock on that card and others using GDDR5( not visible in GPUz), which will greatly lower performance. Might be why you're seeing so low fps.

first cod game ever and after 20 mins i get total freeze, green and red square and i cant do anything or ctd. Any ideas ? every other games works fine. Back to waiting vietnam?

Pretty horrible lag now on all the servers I try. FPS seems steady at 90'ish, but there's this annoying 'hitching', people seem to be teleporting around in tiny jumps instead of running.

the game runs perfectly fine on my new rig now... but i still get the occasional total freeze Neutral

few people have reported that happening ever since the latest patch. I got the freezing game once or twice too since patch, along with my fave,sometimes not being able to shoot whilst aiming down the sights.. Crying or Very sad

THis is just, wrong. Black ops guns do not have different qualities, have you seen the charts of the guns? Most of them have the same recoil, and do the same damage.

And unreal and quake are death match FPS games. Not military shooters, for you to feven bring it up is just silly, I am talking about the lackluster multiplayer of black ops. I dont think comparing quake or unreal series to BlackOps is fair. You cant even compare them to black ops.

Uh, no. I disagree. A lot.

They guns are feel the same. pewpewpew.

Military shooters are not deathmatch FPS. look at CS, and arma, are nothing like quake. Nothing.

Quake has strafe jumping, fast paced aerial combat, due to the weapons and movement.. I'm not sure how much quake you played...

I'm not looking for ultra realism, nor am I looking for an amazing complex FPS multiplayer experience, even tho complexity is always nice.

I'm just look for balance and depth within an FPS game, and I feel black ops does not have this. It's just an "Arcadey" game made for the masses. Just to make $, no thought was actually put into the game. And it shows.

Have for 20 hours...well at least tried.

I don't get it? They literally feel the same, just because their are slight difference here and there, doesn't change the fact that the game is newb down so aim is not really required. Just reaction.

I like to use CS for an example, the game is NOWHERE near ultra realistic, the guns don't act like their real life counterparts, such as, Black ops.

But at least the guns feel "different" and the game requires a decent amount of aim.

And you play it on xbox I take it?

This statement is absolutely false.

Did you see the chart? Almost every weapon is different when it comes to recoil, and what direction the recoil throws the gun. Along with reload speed, and gun switch speed.

The damage values are drop off the same throughout most the weapons, but even those are slightly different in between weapons. For instance, the FAL does slightly less damage then the M14 at range.

No, none of it is realistic. It's a fucking arcade shooter. There is enough difference between every weapon that it makes a difference though, even when the weapons are incredibly similar in real life to begin with - Again, like the M14 and FAL.

Anyone else having problems connecting to Black Ops server?

I keep getting "Black Ops server is unavailable", and if I manage to connect it disconnects after a few seconds.

While turning the sound off completely solves the stuttering issue, I've found that doing \snd_restart at the start of each new map really helps out as well. The problem is definatly related to the way the game engine handles sound.

This is the best so far I have had playing and its pretty much constant so far.

1024 res Very Happy pfft on a 24" screen actually doesnt detract from gameplay only thing you see diff is the scoreboard not clear as it should be, anyhow each game I do /stoprecord and /snd_restart, and seem to have the ability to play the fucking game right now.. we will see, best to stick to low ping servers where you reside country wise as well..

my mp config, 100£% stutter free, 100% lag free (modify graphics quality ingame to your own, higher, lower, res etc. Highly suggest disabling shadows (big fps boost)
