Is it actually a sim, like KA50 BlackShark, or some arcade-sim mix ? Does it have proper avionics, flight physics, damage model, proper targeting systems ? Tx.

I only tried free flight and I was able to select from the AH-64, the Mi-35 Hind E(a variant of the Mi-24), and some sort of helicopter UAV (forgot the designation)
And multiplayer seems tied to yuplay so that's probably a no-go unless there's some sort of workaround

I had to apply RLD crack in yuplay app folder, not in the game folder, to make it work... On the other hand, Trivium crack works fine for all languages and doesn't constantly report server errors. MP doesn't work in both releases though.

Do you play with joystick or gamepad? I tried mouse/keyboard and I could get use to it but for now I am doing some really strange maneuvers it is more struggling not to crash than flying but in some strange way it is lot of fun. Very nice graphics and engine btw.

Getting a really bad GFX corruption on my 5850. No other game does this. Patches of corrupted textures. New or old Cat's for my 5850. Anyone else getting that?

No it's not a hardcore sim like the DCS games. It's more of a hybrid sim/arcade game. There is a "realistic" mode that is actually quite fun where it flies pseudo-realistically. But deep down it's still a shoot-em-up. Well, not even really deep-down. It's just a shoot-em-up with a realistic mode. |
It's exactly what I was looking for, a semi-realistic game that doesn't require extreme devotion but at the same time provides a satisfying non-derp experience.

Works fine here as my images show, Catalyst 10.10e (Latest, 10.11 are a few weeks older due to WHQL cert process.)
Obvious would be to try and disable Catalyst AI, have the latest application profiles installed (10.11 CAP1 update, not 10.11 base.) and try to disable any form of AA, of course don't force AA via CCC either.

Ya I have done all that. Spent about 2 hours but that's too much time for a game like this. After seeing the 360 version, I have no problem just playing that one.
Not sure why ONLY this game has an issue. My 5850 has been incredibly reliable with drivers. Sad.

Probably some driver or game related issue then with just the ATI 5000 series unfortunately.
EDIT: Heh, yeah ATI has a lighter budget with game support or what to call it or how to describe it compared to NVIDIA but they're trying, recent efforts will probably be ATI 6000 series focused though to get the most out of it and the upcoming variants to it but hopefully this will be fixed shortly.

not working here (reloaded version)
you all lucky to get it work.
what i did i:
1.install
2.run the update
3.copied the yuplay english file into yuplay folder and replaced it (in the game directory)
4.run the game and i also disabled the check for upldates.
here after the first 2-3 logo's i am getting this : "game was not activated for your yuplay acount please activate it on launcher or go to yuplay.com and buy a key"
and it taked me back to launcher at my desktop

Hmm the game seems to run fine under W7, no corruptions like in xp.
yeah I still use XP as my main os..
XP = running on Cats 10.10x
W7 = 10.9.
I did Installed the application profiles thingy before running the game (10.11 CAP1)
But i'm unsure if that fixed it, never installed these profiles before btw.
Anyway time to test this baby.

@Ati haters : The game runs perfectly fine on my 4870 even with outdated drivers (Cat 10.5)
@NoLiMiTSoLDieR: Why do you still have XP as your main OS?
W7 is faster, more reliable and visually more attractive (I had XP 32bit until the last year so I'm perfectly aware of what I'm saying )

Windows Xp runs a lot of games faster for me. Sometimes 50% faster.
I also have Win 7 installed.
Windows 7 shines in unraring and par checking though. I can multitask much easier on it too.
For some reason Xp just runs most games faster.
