so they dont fix the muted engine sounds? ... i cant play this shit with the engine sounds almost non existent even an rc car has a louder noise..

the missing engine/siren + whatever else i've not noticed sounds in bumper view + no aa is all i need to play through any more of this game.
at 40% playthrough & the missing audio & rain,nearly forgot the rain lol,is delaying me wanting to play through anymore till fixed.

Of course, I expect the majority of users on these forums download the games, (EDIT: That's not to say no-one ever buys games though.) this patch now being out mainly means that there's now a possibility for it to be cracked and the (Unfortunately rather few though still useful.) fixes will be working with the non-legit edition of the game.
(Wasn't there a crack that didn't alter the exe though or was that some other game?)
EDIT: Some users posted images about the game after the patch, have to say the rain effect is pretty ugly looking minus the (Already visible.) wet surface effect.

Patch works with Reloaded version...rain is there, looks ok, at least at night. Police siren lights are also fixed. Sun glare is new. Still no proper AA.

I already uninstalled it..
By looking at the changelog of the patch, I can tell it wasn't a bad idea.
Maybe another time, cause it isnt a bad game.

Next NFS Hot Pursuit PC Patch coming:
| Spoiler: | NFS Hot PursuitAfter the first PC-Patch for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, which addressed problems with Multicore CPUs and weather effects, now the next patch is in the works!
The following issues will be resolved with the next patch:
Groundcover Graphical Errors
When alt-tabbing, the groundcover would start to corrupt, causing random tree images to appear all over the screen.
Controller Configurations
On some machines controller configurations that have been set up for wheels, pads, etc are not saving correctly to a configuration file. This is now fixed.
Rare crash when entering the Career map screen
The game sometimes crashes when entering the Career map screen quickly after booting the game.
Rare crash when streaming graphical data
Fixed.
Steering response reported as having large dead zone
There was a deadzone. This is now fixed.
Player car engine volume too low
There remains an outstanding crash affecting players with AMD / ATI Radeon graphics cards if they have over-written the AA settings in the control centre. This occurs as you pick an event in the map screen prior to the car select.
Thankfully our friends at AMD/ATI have informed us that this will be fixed in the next release of AMD's drivers (10.12) around the second week of December.

best nfs since the first underground , excluding shift which is in another league of course.
