You sound like a born again christian, I also detect a hint of jealousy, beat up at school alot, never had some fine highschool pussy I bet:) Just cuz you didn't get much action doesn't mean he can't, he's not doing anything illegal, like I said, in my country its fully allowed, just cuz you'r from the land of no freedom don't mean that he's a pedo, just depends how indoctrinated you are. Well that's never been my attitude towards sex or women, I've only slept with 6 women in my life; 3 one night stands which all occurred under the influence of alcohol and weren't particularly enjoyable; 3 short term relationships with the longest (and latest) lasting almost 10 months.
I'm no Casanova, but I know how to charm women and I can actually be charismatic in short bursts lol. Also compared to the average 170lb 18 year old male, I look much more like a man physically, so I know the 18 year old girls will be attracted to that. Primarily what I wanted was to have some fun, create some sexual tension, maybe even get a low maintenance 18 year old girlfriend. Because at the moment I really don't have the time and energy to engage in the more demanding relationships that older women expect. I was never intending to just try and shag as many of them as possible, while treating them as expendable. That just isn't my style and I get no satisfaction out of that.
Also as the majority of you are aware, I'm an asshole, and I believe an 18 year old woman would be much more likely to put up with that then a 24 year old. I mean seriously, when it comes to ethics, morals, discretion and sensitivity I just don't give a shit, it's all relative in my mind, most of my experiments in the in the lab would probably horrify a girl for fucks sake. Haha, it's my job, my real job. I'm a self employed scientist with a PhD in viral engineering and gene therapy. I hire my own lab space, most of my money is made from research grants or contracts from the university I attended. I've even authored a couple of minor treatises on various biological subjects. It's actually quite lucrative if you secure a regular source of contracts/grants. I'm not loaded or anything but I'm very comfortable for an almost 25 year old, I only finished my education this year. I also perform 'personal' research experiments, since I can use the lab equipment for whatever I choose. Some elements of my experiments could be considered 'unethical' since I inject rats with various prototype retro-viral vectors that have a high probability of causing cancerous growths. Then I have to dissect them and use their cell to test for integration etc, can be pretty gruesome at times, but I love it!

That's not it at all, ultimately I would like to have a long term relationship with a woman of similar age to me, though I'm not strict about the age thing. But since I recently came out of a 10 month (I know not long compared to some of you guys) relationship, don't want to jump into another serious one right away, but miss the sex; I thought it would be nice to have a casual relationship with someone younger then me.

How can you have a PhD at 24? When did you get your masters degree? That would take 9-10 years here, depending on the branch.

My study takes four years for bachelor, two for master and four again for a PhD. Other studies have a three year bachelor phase. If I would have my PhD now, at age 25, I'd need to start the uni at 15. That's assuming you won't have a single year of delay. Let's count one year of delay, that would make it 14 for the first year of uni. Me is confused.

Here it's 5 yrs of uni and I dk what this new bolognia system calls it, but I guess it's masters, and then you have 3 yrs for PhD. But I know ppl who got their PhD @ 25.
It's quite an accomplishment imo ^^

Thanks, but being in education for so long gets very tiresome after a while, I'm just glad it's over in some ways. I also would have liked to take longer over my PhD but for personal and financial reasons I had to rush it. My thesis was pretty good, but it could have been much better.
