So I get this random ass e-mail not too long ago thanking me for my Everquest 2 purchases...
I haven't played that fucking shit for like 10 years.
So I get into my old account info and see two bullshit credit cards on there, and my account has been banned.
I finally clear that shit up because I don't want that bullshit on one of my accounts (even if I don't use it).
This was like a month ago maybe.
So today I get into my battle.net account, and eventually I find my way over to my old WoW account that I haven't played on since 2006, so like 4 years ago.
I log in that shit and find it has also been frozen, blocked. Ok, WHAT THE FUCK.
So I get through all this support bullshit, and it turns out some fucking sack of shit zombie'd my account, stole all my shit, and spammed the fucking shit out of the game with, so they banned the whole account.
So I correct that bullshit and go on my way.
Today I try to log into my Guild Wars account which I play frequently, and it tells me my account has been blocked.
So I log into the stupid NCSoft website where the account shit is handled, and it says my master account has been permanently closed.
WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK.
I haven't used Everquest 2, WoW, or the PlayNC/NCSoft website in like 4+ years, all my current passwords are no longer what the passwords would have been for these old accounts... how the fuck are they getting hacked?
I don't click on bullshit, I scan all the fucking time and never have any viruses... Even if I did click some bullshit, which I didn't, how the fuck would anyone be getting those old passwords? At the most, my NEW passwords would be compromised and they wouldn't even work on my old shit from 4+ years ago.
How the FUCK are all these accounts getting fucking raped? Fucking bullshit.

Both the Everquest people and the WoW guys told me all the traffic was from proxies and/or bullshit from China.
Still awaiting access to my NCSoft and Guild Wars accounts..
Changed passwords to every account I could think of.
Comp still has NO viruses, just completed plenty of full scans with multiple AV programs.
I don't get how anyone could break into my shit. |

Most people don't realize that they have a keylogger on their comp.
I accidentially found a lot of passwords of a fellow humper via google and informed him via PM about it. He didn't knew anything about that either!

Can't be. The password that was set for EQ2 and WoW had not been in use by me for so long, they never would have been key'd in by me. |

Do you have the same username/password combo for those accounts? Or only same password? Or neither?
If either of the first two are true, then someone could have picked up your password on some random site where you registered and just randomly tried that user/pass combo in multiple popular sites until he found those that work. I did this myself many times when I ran a site back in high school. Surprising how many people use same info for all their shit.
It's quite possible that someone just got around to trying out your password, he might have recorded it years ago. I know I still have hundreds of user/pass combos in an old DB I still haven't checked.

Most things are different from one another but I do have some shared accounts over different services...
I finally got through to tech support, looks like whoever did this busted into my old INACTIVE Aion account, spammed the shit out of the game, got banned, and the ban travels through to my master NCSoft account, which then banned my Guild Wars account.
Goddamn.
Aion, another account that I haven't used in years, and the password would not be any current passwords I have set.
Fuckers!
