Not going to watch. Is it that one with the kitten and high heel shoe that went around couple of yrs ago?
I saw a happy ending story of a first sad pet story yesterday.
I was helping someone at a craft fair and a girl came in from the Island shelter. She had the 2 cutest puppies with her. I mean melt your heart cute. I thought they were black teddy bears when she walked in. 9 weeks old. Turns out someone abandoned them downtown in the snow, left them in a cardboard box. The good thing is that they were found, they are young and cute and I know someone responsible is going to adopt them. Black lab and husky. So sweet.

I'm so not watching that. I don't see how ppl can enjoy hurting animals. What did they do to you to deserve that.
Once in a while I hear stories about ppl torturing animals, like tying them to a car and driving or putting them on fire... Man I would find those who did it and do it to them! Let me see if you'll enjoy it! Some ppl are really sick and twisted!

I agree with you. Im not for that kinda slaughter.
On the other hand they are used to feed people(not that it matters), but you dont exactly cuddle with a seal in your back yard / living room.
I see your point but to a certain degree the seal slaughtering has a purpose mainly because it eats up alot of the fish in the sea and has to be dealth with someway or another.

It's not about what they do it for but HOWthey do it.
'Slaughtering' isn't more effective than putting down or shooting in the head or whatever other humane - and EXPENSIVE - ways there is.
