Last night (~2am) I put a filét of cod in the oven to have for dinner (yes, screwed up day/night cycle), and I had forgotten to remove the aluminium foil on the floor of the oven (it's there to pick up dripping and fallen stuff) which burnt and created a lot of smoke and crap. Oh well I though, no harm done. An hour later (3am) the fire department knocked on my door since my very cute neighbour had called them thinking it was burning. I explained that I had burnt crap on the foil in the oven and the fireman checked out my oven (and extremely messy and dirty kitchen).
Today when I went on an errand my OTHER neighbour on the same floor wondered why they were woken up at 3am by a whole brigade of fire men and I had to explain what had happened.
Now I just want to move since I won't be able to look my neighbours in the eyes.
Meh!

Hahahahahah I know this feeling all to well. Twice I've come home at bartime and passed out with a pizza in the oven. No fire brigade though!
