Geez, when are they gonna stop putting out shit like this, when they know sooner or later people will find out that it´s not working. I mean, it just gives the group a bad reputation.

i borrowed GT4 cos im thinking bout buying it since about 10 copies have came out but are nuked, so i wanted to see if it was really good, and ive gotta say its pretty damn good. well anyway i wanted to actually see how big the game really was so i put it in my DVD burner and checked the size and it was 3.09GB. when i saw that i was like WTF. does any1 know why its this size??
EDIT:just ripped it to my hard drive and it came out 5.27GB. im not sure why that happened.

because its a dual layer dvd. don't try to copy it or whatever because its not possible at the moment. Grtz

there is a dvd5 version of this game out which just comes over 2gb just downloading it to see what it's like im getting 180kb a sec so should be done in 3 hours!

I found today game called Enthusia from Konami I hope it's better then GT (it's possible ?)
Polyphony is cheat people. They made that game whole century and there is no online mode, probably there is no new car add, they add some lame B mode WTF ?, and they need year to release same shit which they have with prologue ?? And what that NITRO do in GT ?? That's not shity need for speed.
And when you pass all license on gold you have 15 cars ?? WTF ?? GT power was in playing days to get second car and now you have 5 cars for bronze ??
I don't dislike Gt because I can't have it I can always go to shop and but that shity game but I whink better for me is go and buy sandwich and I will have more fun.

I have my lite-on dvd burner, and I was wondering if there was anything I could do to backup Gran Turismo 4, I have a completely legit copy that was purchased from a store, but I don't want to have to worry about it getting scratched.
Is there anyway I could even get all of the data on my pc, even if there isn't a way for it to get burned yet?

I tried it! where good games! a little bit trouble with japanese menù but now i'm playing it's and it's really good!

an image patcher will also be released by Team Toxic so all of use non DMS4 modchip users will be hopefully be able to make a working backup copy of GT4.

Doesn't really mean "they've" won, right? We can still play a backup if we have that DMS4 modchip so it just means that pirating PS2 games won't be cheap anymore. No more easy and cheap Swap Magic & slide tool-type solutions if they decide to protect their games by making them all like GT4.

a patch has been released to play the NTSC and PAL versions with hdl loader. it's been confirmed to work but i've not tested yet
i'm ripping it to hd now so i'll post back as soon as i've tested it
i can confirm the PAL version works, i used the strike release which i already had on my hd, i'll test it later with the PAL retail DVD
