I wouldn't mind if action was put aside for a good, serious drama, and I will not say that there are no good teenager actors (some even in the cast), but alas, this is not the case with HP.

Inception, Bourne, Batmans, Miami Vice, District 9, etc. All have action in them, but they are not just about the action.
Transformers, Avatar, Salt and other similar nonsense just don't do it for me anymore.
Just finished watching Skyline. Utter, unearthly, god-awfully-made CRAP. Worst movie of the year. Having a 4.6/10 score in imdb is pretty much damn plenty. Should've stood away from this garbage, but was really craving for some sci-fi stuff.

It was interesting and wierd..I definetely expected more lol scenes when I saw Steve Carell was involved..but he was OK overall.
Legend Of The Guardians [1/10] - Why did I watch this? It is so terrible it even makes Inception seem watchable. Fuck you: American generalized plastic wrapped force-fed morality and cliché-ass cheese family stories.
One more for "The Town" 9/10. Ben Affleck has really re-invented himself in my eyes (with this and his debut). Would have loved to see his brother in this one too tho - Because Casey Affleck is my favorite "new" actor. First saw him in "The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" and loved him since. Same as with "Sam Rockwell" before him.
I think "The town" has a near perfect amount of action and dialog for this kind of movie. Its pretty simple but better told than most and with believable actors.
Loved it, and the robots voice creeped me out really. I was half expecting it was gonna use its robot hand to give the guy a complementary reach-around.
you know, im less concerned about that, than i am the fact he showed his kids a movie where a dude gets his dick chewed on by a sheep... and that his kids loved it...

anyway, stop distracting me from why i actually came to this thread for...
i watched resident evil afterlife again... not going to say why, but it wasn't really my choice... no point grading it again, but fucking hell... it really is a fucking terrible film, isn't it? watching it in HD, it really helps showcase just how terrible EVERY aspect in the film is... not just the cgi, but the god awful acting, lack of even BASIC fucking COHERENCE , and even the direction - i know anderson doesn't have a lot of fans here (although ive always thought he was pretty decent at what he did..), but hes NEVER been this fucking bad in the past. NEVER.... this truly is one of THE worst films of the year, ho-leey-fuck.
