they both have same patches

But then, that Russian steam sharing site mentions v6 (v1 is first release). So it seems there are updates 4 and 5 too.

The exe re-downloaded for some reason but I think it's unchanged or maybe they added CEG or some such to it if it was indeed unprotected before, other than that nothing else have updated from the previous files I uploaded.

Exe and some config file plus a backup of said config file, requires the previous update whichever is complete (Audio archive and the other one, either mine or any other group that contains everything, about 150 - 180 MB depending on compressions.)

EDIT: Seems there's a Theta release also now. Smile

Note that buttommap.cfg file has a typo in its name, so custom controls will not work, until it is renamed to buttonmap.cfg.

Essential, if you want to bind back A&S for speed and jump..

He made him look too similar to The Thing. But it's cool that it illustrates that meatboy is just a boy without skin though and not, well, a block of meat Smile

New Patch: http://store.steampowered.com/news/4756/

Quote:
New Stuff:

-Added Ironman achievements for all darkworld worlds. If you previously ironmaned an entire darkworld chapter (we've seen a few videos), sorry but you'll have to iron man them again to get the achievement. This should only affect 2 or 3 people...and we apologize to you...but if you do it again you get a neat achievement....so that's something!

-Updated a few levels with some troublesome areas

Fixes:

- buttonmap.cfg was misnamed, so users were not able to change control configurations without renaming the file. My bad. The file is now named correctly.

-Save Files are now corrected fixing a bug where FlyWrench's unlock levels would overwrite Jills and vicea versa. This save file patch now awards Flywrench if you found the Flywrench warpzone and have jill unlocked. This was the only way to guarentee that Players did not lose their unlocks. In the event that you only found Flywrench's warp and didn't unlock him, but have Jill unlocked...congrats you got a free Flywrench.

-Save file will back up with the first run of the game just in case the save file patch corrupts the current game. It is saved in userdata/savedata.dat.bak

-Some users were not able to get certain achievements, or missed achievements because they weren't online. Now, on load all achievements that can be should be awarded according to the save file will be awarded. These include all of the warp zone and character unlock achievements.

-Fixed a problem with screen resolutions being forced to fullscreen even when windowed was selected.

-Fixed a problem with Retro Rampage achievement.

-Fixed a problem with the Start menu character select screen being ordered incorrectly

-Fixed a problem (maybe, it was very difficult to reproduce) with full screen builds loading VERY slow on some computers. The one computer we could replicate it loaded as fast as windowed mode after some window code adjustment.

Finished it, not exactly 100% but finished the the light-side levels and took all bandages and portals, some areas where nearly impossible however and the last couple of levels were really troublesome so I haven't done much there aside from the unlock extra stuff, particularly the bonus chapter and it's dark world variant (With very few of them even unlocked.) where there's still a lot left but I'll probably not bother with it.
(They're pretty crazy, wonder if there's many people whom finished them without dying to get that particular achievement.)

I'll see if there's something there, I uninstalled the game (I do that when I'm done with a title.) but if the preferences are still saved somewhere it might still exist.

EDIT: Seems they're located in the game folder unfortunately so there's nothing left.

EDIT: It might be possible to replay it via a trainer but I'm worried about breaking the game a bit if done that way.

A game like that I can't imagine that there are no cheat codes built into it somewhere. Smile

I suppose it depends on, platforming would be Trine or World of Goo or VVVVV I suppose not that I've played trough either (Have Trine but haven't finished it.) puzzle game would be something like Machinarium I guess.

There's also remakes of older titles like the Sonic game and Slaughterhause title available though I can't give many recommendations as I've played very few such games.

EDIT: Perhaps check the Steam and Gamersgate indie title listings for videos, screens and general info. Smile
(I'm currently trying to finish the Laxius titles but that's going to take weeks as there's quite a few games in that serie released and they're about 100 hours each albeit with a lot of that being grinding and reloading as they're not particularly easy either plus have a lot of hidden stuff to find and unlock, decent shareware RPG's though somewhat old by now.)

How the hell did you guys finish the game? I've tried 3 releases ( except the obvious original steam one which I'm actually thinking of buying now ) and one has missing boss at the final boss map, and the other 2, he goes way too fast infront of you ( more then he normally should ) and at the end he steps right on the platform which doesnt vanish which makes the final stage impossible to pass since I cant drop him down..

Nimbus is a game similar to SMB or VVVVVVVVVVVVV (however many V's it is). I like to call them rage platformers. Smile Nimbus has a bit of a different game mechanic but overall, it's similar in that you have to progress through levels and don't touch the f'n triangle shaped spikes Smile
