Seems that gameplay wise the game will be (obviously) very similar to its predecessor, except for some new moves/super powers. The graphics looks slightly improved (not revolutionized though); let's hope that the story and the new point of view will be interesting.
Well I'm a little dissapointed. I hoped that they will reveal who or what is the PARIAH as it was suggested in web of intrigue

The game's currently in development for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, and is expected to release in 2012.
Activation could make a Prototype FPS in the future or take the series into another genre.
That's according to exec producer Ken Rosman, who told Official Xbox Magazine - which is on shelves now - the decision to change Prototype 2's protagonist means the series isn't tied to a specific character, location or genre.
"If we don't tie the series to a single character, then that means we're also not tied to any one particular location either," Rosman told OXM.
"This gives us the freedom to use what I call a 'pipette approach' - where we can drop the virus into any given situation and see where it takes us.
"This means that going forward, we could even see Prototype spanning different genres; it could make an appearance in an FPS featuring a military squad operating somewhere in the jungle perhaps," he added, being rather specific.
"Right now, we've made the decision to make Prototype 2 a direct continuation of the original, but the virus opens up many possibilities for the future..."
I hope it has a better story and missions than the first game. I gave up playing on it after a particular level where bugs kept spawning non stop and there was a tank involved I believe... oh well.
