Further googling seems to imply that you folks are right and that m33-6 is superior to gen-d3
Can I get a tutorial (link) on how to change the cfw? Remember I still don't know a lot about how to do stuff with the PSP.
And I read that I would need to patch games in order for them to run. How would I do that? With this ominous iso tools app?
(I've also read that you could install a plugin and thereby circumvent the need to patch iso but tbh I'd rather patch them than installing stuff on my psp which I don't know of how it works)

Arghl. Yes sabin mentioned the plugin. Just typed this, didn't read the latest posts carefully enough and now I'm too lazy to rewrite my post Very Happy

Dont need patches or plugins if you flash " Prometheus v4". Why would you not use Prometheus v4?

Prometheus v4 *is* a plugin. It looks like a CFW but it's a plugin-based solution (the exact same one that the 6.20 plugin.prx is based off, by the way Wink) for 5.00M33 or 5.50GEN base Very Happy

So apparently the new God of War game need some kind of Prometheus Firmware or so to run, I have read.
Can anybody fill me in on that?
