This is kinda a PC and Console question, but as its to do with hardware, I thought I should stick it here.

I currently have a TV card in my seccond system, Im connecting my GameCube and PS2 to this via composite and viewing the games on my moniter. Now, the quality of this is rather poor, Im fairly sure its due to TV card as opposed to the console itself or the moniter (as moniters are higher res). Now, I hear you can get "VGA boxes" that allow composite's/scarts to connect to your moniters (not through your PC).. Will this make the quality better? (I think so.. but Id like confirmation, from someone who has tried one of these things!)

thanks guys

Im begining to think my topics confuse people Razz! (or maybe no one likes me? Razz).. Anyway. I found a rather expensive middle way for the problem, in the form of an external TV card that supports SXGA!

Yup Smile! Its just a box that your moniter plugs into, as well as your composite out from the console.. This just makes things easier, although, Im now wondering what to do with my TV card Razz!

Id go for one too, but they're so damn hard to find! The only ones I can find support very poor resolutions and would be worse than my current solution (the TV card giving out about 752x680 or so res). The good ones I've found can't be bought anywhere, so I figure this is much like upgrading a GFX card to play better games. I can't use my consoles at an acceptable level, its time to move up in the world..

For now Im going to borrow a friends TV, its in our living room and no one goes in there (mainly because the air hockey table is taking up 90% of the room Razz)..
