What is everyone using to control this? I have been using KB but it seems like a controller MAY be more intuitive. But I am not big on controllers.

I'm using a PS3 controller, with Motioninjoy simulating a 360 pad. It works fairly well; I've gotten all A+ on first two worlds and almost all with third. Only have ~30 bandages, though.

I'm normally keen on trying every game on keyboard but with this one I went straight to the controller.

Yeah, I am using the 360 controller now. This game is a riot! My 11 year old daughter is getting great at it. This is the first time in a long time I feel blisters coming on. Smile
I thought there was a bandaid in every level but I'll be damned if I see them. I don't want to look on youtube or any cheat sites because I am having so much fun but where the fuck are they? (without giving too much away, maybe a hint or two would be great)

Not quite every level, it's a bit random though so there's no specific layout for them and some are really difficult to find of course.
(Others are instead easy to find but very hard to acquire, easiest is to first get the time score to A+ and then dedicate on finding the bandage if there is one.)

(Similar to the various portals though there's fewer of those.)

As a side note regarding portals.

There is a pattern.

7 bandages per every light world (so 7 levels out of 20). 7 per every dark world (7/20), 2 per every warp zone that doesn't unlock character (3 such zones total in single world, 2 in light and 1 in dark level) == 20 bandages per world total.

I wonder what exclusive characters will be for that Version... there won't be the Guy from Cave story.
I bet for the guy from 'Lost Winds' and 'And yet It moves',needs 4 more...[/quote]

It seems it's just a numbering issue.

v11 from steam (essentially, version after 10 updates) has its exe different compared to unleshed version in just a few bytes. So they definitely from same update, with only difference being that unleashed "patched" their own exe to disable leaderboards (otherwise, you would get infinite loading).

Back to the game. I am enjoying this very much w/o it frustrating me because even though hard it is fair and challenging once you get the flow going it is impossible to stop!

How do you "clear" a warp zone that doesn't unlock a character? I finished a character warp zone and it got marked red like a finished level. The non-character warp zones I finished are not marked like that. Did I miss something?

Nothing... it's just like that.

But you can always take 2 bandages from them.
If both are shown as taken, then you know you cleared everything from there.

Holy **** just manage to beat the first level of 'The Kid''s Warp Zone. the game is still Running.
it's unfair that it's not save until you finish all it's levels.

My thoughts too, when I got at same place.

But after a while now, I finished 1-5 worlds (skipped a few 4-5 levels). and am stuck at level 6-5 (just 1 level before final boss). Even got enough bandages for head crap.

Can't believe I made this far.

The power of Steam for indies:

Quote:
The Team Meat Twitter web page reveals some of what was discussed, including the fact that Super Meat Boy has sold a total of 400,00 copies so far. The Steam/PC version has outsold the Xbox 360 port even though the console version came out before the PC port.
