what the fuck was 'good' in transformers?

Transformers was a decent action movie with good CGI, Transformers 2 was a mess of robots and moronic jokes.

to be fair, the second film - as stupidly immature and as pathetic as it was, is no worse than the first one.... the first one was utterly terrible and boring, except... as i said... second one actually half way FEATURED the robots rather than treating them as a background annoyance getting in the way of the REAL star - the HUMANS.

the first movie was terrible because all it was, was some stupid teen angst adventure about some dork trying to get laid, nothing more... and everyone knows this.

its hard to imagine anyone watching transformers for anything OTHER than giant robots tearing shit up, so its weird to say the film that actually half way manages to DELIVER this, is the worse one.

to me, the transformers franchise is the ONE franchise that most badly NEEDS a freakin reboot. usually im against them, but this franchise NEEDS it - even more urgently than spider-man does (and that says something).

Stone - Zzz / 10 - Couldn't finish it, completely mindnumbingly boring, like watching a stone.

Skyline - 2 / 10 - Useless movie with bad acting and an uninteresting plot. Like an overbudget porn movie without the porn.

Death Race 2 - 1 / 10 - lol

Yes, yes I'm back.

The Fighter 5/10

Had to fight with myself to not fall asleep. although the last 40 minutes were quite good. You still have to go through an hour and 10 minutes of boringness.

Unstoppable 7/10

Aside from the typical lol wut ness possessing some of the characters in this movie ( just like in the real story, though ) it was a good flick.

saw this one yesterday. Belive it or not, I rented it through my digital telly (I had a free one...so I had to pick a movie that I would never ever pay for).
Was great fun! We laughed alot!

Rating? well...can you actually rate a movie like this?

Tonight Im watching this one. Can't help myself from wanting to see a movie with the title "the Dark lurking" followed by a sub title "Alien Vs Zombies" lol!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1391579/

Hopefully it will be just as bad as the one above. (They even have the same cover as alien! lol)

megashark. was that the one where the shark bites a PLANE out of the SKY?

the dark lurking.. saw that like a year or 2 ago.. had good atmosphere that would have been just the kind of sci-fi i enjoy watching (low budget, raw, dark and unpolished), if it wasnt for the acting and characters that were just too cringe-worthy to make the film enjoyable.

Black Swan - 9/10

Amazing performance by Natalie Portman. The way she handled her character was just incredible. Worth watching for that alone.

The Fighter 8/10

Bale was excellent, not a fan of Walhberg.

Black Swan 9/10

Watched this with my lady, thought it was going to be some random chick flick... was pleasantly surprised.

Best couple of movies i've watched for a while.... can't wait for 127hours Smile

True Grit 7/10

enjoyed it more than i thought i would.. plenty of great laughs, and further cements just how fucking great an actor jeff bridges is- he MADE the film, he really did. the girl was ok... she didnt annoy me like most kids do in movies, she was actually pretty decent and never grated on my nerves, and maaaattt ddaaaamon was good as well.

only complaints was that it felt short for some reason, and i didnt really like it how everything was resolved in one scene... just seemed a bit uneven to me... and the ending i wasnt very fond of, either - like you had this really triumphant and powerful sequence, then followed by a slow bit of drama where nothing happens, then a massive downer which somehow managed to lack the emotional punch that it should have... nope, not a fan of the ending was handled.

also... bear-man. what the fuck, right?

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole - 8/10 - the animation is superb! And I liked the darkness of the movie. Definitely not for kids...

Buried 8,5/10

Phone Booth already proved to me you don't need many locations to make an exciting movie, Buried gives you even less then a phone booth Laughing Great movie though, Reynolds is surprisingly amazing in his role. Build up of tension is very well done, fantastic ending.

Winter's Bone 5/10

Great acting, portraying Missouri hilbillies doesn't get any better then this. Then again, why would anyone want to watch a movie with Missouri hilbillies. I thought it was boring and didn't care about the characters or the storyline.
