Standard USB stick probably, no modding required
This method makes the PS3 think it's running software that's been approved by Sony themselves

Blackbox FTP...use IE7 to login, then view it in Windows Explorer and transfer away!

Yeah, it might very well be. Hell, I only used it to transfer the GT5 eboot. And hell, it was the first time I loaded up IE since I bought this computer well over a year ago...Firefox all the way...haha.
