Zen is a 2011 TV drama series based on the Aurelio Zen detective novels by Michael Dibdin. The series was been filmed on location in Italy, but the dialogue is entirely in English. Rufus Sewell takes the title rôle of the Italian police detective. The series of three 90-minute films is scheduled for its first UK transmission on Sunday evenings from 2 January 2011 on BBC One and are based on the books Vendetta, Cabal and Ratking.
Rufus Sewell is awesome. He was the lead in Dark City, 'nuff said.
Yeah I thought it was pretty good too. It was weird hearing different english accents in Rome, but you get used to it. Some unlikely events occcured but that's to be expected. Yup, it was definitely good enough to merit a second helping.
