First of all, why is the internal space so damn small? I mean, even my china phone was more convenient that way (may it RIP, lol )

So anyway, programs couldnt run because I had 37kb left on the internal memory. And yes, I use app 2 SD to clear up space. Read some place that the 2,2 update is stored on the phone. And something was just eating up space :/

Restarted... and the loop started. Brilliant quietly my ass... had to take out the battery, and hard reset it, witch worked (clearing up space did the trick) Smile
Other than this, its been really reliable, but still think the iPhone commumity is better. Pretty obvious since the majoirty got iPhone.

Same with my missus, mate. She's got the Archos 5 IT and, just like the majority (all?) of Android stuff; it has a laughably small usable app space amount. Hers is 130MB and, sadly, it's Android 1.6 so there's no Apps2SD or generic "install to SD/HDD" option that you guys on 2.1/2.2 get. 500GB platter-based HDD, yet Google/Android - in their infinite wisdom - only give you 130MB with which to use for apps. Archos are just as bad in their lack of support; refusing to put out Android 2.x for the Archos 5, telling you that if you want 2.x, go out and buy their new Archos 10 >_>

Google is trying to compete with Apple, but they're just going to fail until they LISTEN to their customers. Shit, Apple may be the scum of the industry.. but at least they let you use the storage on their devices.

Never had mine stuck in a reboot loop o_O

Not run into problems with the internal storage yet either, but it is something Google could have prevented. Then again, the OS is barely 1.5 years old so meh

The only thing I think its really fantastic with the phone is the GPS. Connects to sattelites faster than TomTom. Thats pretty cool.
Cool phone, but not the "wow" factor I thought it would be. I hope some phone pwns iPhone really hard one day. But it might as well be something from Asia, lol.

had my 2.2 froyo in a reboot loop until I removed the 8gb microSD. then it booted OK, the 8Gb went in and it's ok since then.

oh well, one not-tested OS and dozens of device = fail. been there done that with PC

Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube

Installing a custom rom would help you with the space I guess.

Seriously Waargh, stop the Apple-whoring already, or stop trying to bash Android with small issues you've had. It's a relatively open OS, not even half as old as iOS, and it still gets pretty damn close (even doing some things better) and it just keeps getting better. Apple have had similar issues, and they in fact still have them, even in OS X. Don't get me started, because I've recently experienced some of these problems in the company here, and it's not pretty. Bugfree software does not exist, anyone claiming their shit is 100% bugfree is a liar, because that inevitable bug just hasn't been found yet, and Apple are no exception to that Wink

Just out of interest:
So most Android phones only have a few hundred MB of storage for apps, whereas the Iphone has at least 14GB (efficient)?
Can use at least use an SD-card or something to get more?

Yah, MicroSD cards, and with 2.2 you can install almost everything to the SD; most apps save their data on SD by default as well Smile
