Sega has launched a console in gents toilets across Japan that is controlled by wee. That's right, ur(ine) the controller.
It's only January and we reckon that you won't find a weirder gaming announcement all year. A console that you take a whiz on? Really?
Anyway, how does it work? The system - which isn't actually called the Sega Wee, unfortunately, it's called Toylet - consists of a screen that goes on top of the urinal, which is loaded with four games, and a sensor that goes in the urinal.
"Players" urinate on the sensor, which detects the pressure and angle of the flow. We can't believe we're writing this.
What kind of games are we soaking here? This is where it gets even better:
- 'Mannekin Pis', which challenges you to wee as hard as you can
- 'Graffiti Eraser', which sees players remove paint by weeing on every part of the picture
- 'The North Wind and Her', as poetic as it sounds, is just a classic case of weeing hard enough to increase the strength of the wind and try and blow a girl's skirt up)... finally.
- 'Milk from Nose', our favourite. This pits blokes against each other as they try to wee harder than the chap before them. While you're doing it, for some reason, an on-screen character sprays more milk out of his nose.
"I'm just going to nip to the loo again." Paul told his wife after downing a seventh pint of water and exchanging a steely glare with Clark across the pub.
Usually we'd link to some related news at some point in this story, but there isn't any. There just isn't any.
perhaps future versions could have all the urinals linked up in a LAN setup. Competative multiplayer for all.
They are =) That's the part "'Milk from Nose" applies to. The urinals are networked linked and there's a couple of games built into the ToyLet that pits you against other pissers at the same time
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
