The CPU is not a Snapdragon, albeit a similar ARM-architecture based one.
IPS is amazing. Lmao at people trying to compare AMOLED to IPS!

It's possible to remove the underclock with some unix access, but I don't see the point. 720p playback is amazingly smooth, and all games run well enough. So what's the point? Just to have the number 1GHz on the back of your mind or some benchmark that is worthless in real-world scenarios?

Well it could be nice to utilize the extra effects and the extra fps which are exclusive to the iPad, I mean yes, they are different both in size and resolution but still you gotta make the most of what you have. And from 800 mhz to 1 ghz is still a 20 % increase in processing power. That's a overclock you ought to feel all the way around.

If you top or time the most demanding games out there, you will see that CPU utilization is 40-60%. So you'll be shooting blanks so to speak.
And most games that are universal include all the bells and whistles that the iPad versions have. Some idiot developers have not ported the iPad versions of their games to iPhone 4, but that's a different issue entirely.

Hmm very odd that an app such as Epic Citadel runs better on my iPad compared to my iPhone sure it may lack the optimization but still there are noticeable gain on my end...

I hate those games all for the same reason, crashing your plane looks stupid as fuck. Does this game have epic crashes?
