Hmm, and I thought the person who made this, made it purely for the lulz, not to be deadly critical or serious.
Anyway, just to make you (partially) happy:
Well in a way I think you are right, the individual who made it did probably not give it a serious thought. Because if he/she did - it would hopefully have led them to the same conclusion I had. As for the "lulz", jokes are heavily subjective/cultural. I laugh 'til I fall off watching Monty Python stuff or Kids in the hall (I think that canadian comedy crew was called), whilst others think that shit sucks.
To me this wasn't funny at all, just annoying. "Hey look at these unthought statements that I made". But clearly some people spent about as much time thinking about it as the guy who made it. "Whoa dude, he's so right". Well how about this ... if you think he's so right, stop playing modern games, stop listening to modern music, watch fucking VHS-tapes, and watch old analog broadcasts on a crappy ass CRT-screen whilst driving a car that swallows one-two gallon(s) of fuel every 3 miles and gets you killed in your first car crash. Because if he's so right about how awesome that is, then you wouldn't need any of the new stuff. Right?
