I pirated for the SP. It's not like there are any new "military arcade" SP games that are better, are there?

Even medal of honour was better than this in single player, it's total pants.
Don't get me wrong, I love CoD, spend a lot of time on multi with them, but single player is always just endless hordes until you reach point A, etc etc, and this one as tried to do the whole trippy malarky which to me completely misses the mark and only succeeds in spoiling the flow of the game.
I bought the game on release day and still have only pout 2 hours into single player. Well, 3 if you include the bonus top down shooter. Lol.
I do seem to have gone completely off single player FPS lately but so maybe just me.

They're completely different games but. If you want something immediate CoD will always be better, if you want something a little more tactical BC2 will always be better.

Great! I'm satisfied I made the right choice then, although if I wanted to play MP on BO that much I'd buy it. It seems a waste of cash though if BFBC2 MP is that much better.

When alterops gets released you will be able to play mp on a cracked client.
People are working on a emu server thingie for bfbc2 aswell, but im not sure if it'll be as good as alterIW for cod games tho...

Yeah I've read about theses alter ops servers, they had something similar for MW2 I think? Although i never bothered to try them out. Maybe I'll give BO a try when the cracked server is available.

AlterOps is taking more time than expected, but AlterIW is perfectly functional, well populated and also includes a server browser and all the DLCs

That's what I said last time - unfortunately I let my habitual subscription to the COD series get the better of me. I hope I don't fold next time. I'm getting really bored with military twitch shooters - they should do the right thing and at least make the uniforms blue and red instead of all the bs camo colours.

Well I had high hopes for Black Ops - it seemed like MW2 done right and then some, so that is why I bought it. Now I don't remember when was the last time I have played it and it is getting way too old now as well. Might give it another try after the patch. Anyone still playing it?
I am more interested in what the next MoH will have at this point. With Brink, BF3 and perhaps even Homefront on the horizon, it's hard to be excited about same old CoD.

Yeah sound bug is random for me on matches, but the restart always helps. I did the 50 rank and not gone further yet not sure I would like to on pc right now.
I switched playing Bops onto 360 and gameplay wise I get more out of it as a shooter, it lacks the LOD distance/sharpness on the derpybox but I like its overall presentation and how it does actually work.
Only negative thing I have about it on the console is sometimes I wait way to long to get into a match, "found 50 matches - joining lobby" etc etc and when the numbers are fewere Ive noticed online in late evening which is primarily when I get to play it its impossible to even get into a match..
Would be interesting to see how the 360 would of done over the years in gaming if the system had full AA abilities.. To be honest its possible I would of been on xbox live alot more I think if im honest with myself.

I would still hate not having a mouse and keyboard. Not a single shooter on the consoles has felt good to me so far, at least the ones that try to be like a PC FPS.
