I'm surprised nobody here said Nathan Fillion should've played Nathan Drake. His character in Firefly/Serenity is practically identical to Nathan Drake.
my wife was watching pretty little liars last night and i saw nolan north in it. i recognized the voice of desmond and then looked at the tv and saw him. i never clicked the imdb link posted earlier. so he obviously has *some* acting experience. but i really don't think mark wahlberg is the right choice. ahh well i won't pay to watch it anyway so let them do what they will, it won't affect my wallet.
Fillion changed his game... He's in castle now and venturing into the big screen has been a disaster for him. His fanbase can't create a box office hit, but can keep a steady base for tv. I love Fillion, but no. Wahlberg is a good actor but seriously it's all about who's directing and how into the project they are. If it's shit, it'll be shit. I still say Michael Westen. All of you STFU!
Quality stuff. As good if not better than anything Naughty Dog and Sony could produce. Heard Nathan Fillion was too old to play the role but this proves otherwise I’d say. Voice is as good as Nolan North too in my opinion.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man schedule is crunching Uncharted’s timeline and sources said that will cost the picture Travis Knight, the Laika animation wiz who made his live action directing debut on the Transformers spinoff Bumblebee. It looks like the movie will get pushed, but Holland and Mark Wahlberg remained attached.
A couple weeks after Deadline reported that Ruben Fleischer was atop the list to direct Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg in Sony Pictures’ Uncharted, and the race was on to keep the pic on track to shoot before the next installment of Holland’s Spider-Man, the studio changed the release date of the Columbia Pictures actioner. Wahlberg will portray Victor “Sully” Sullivan, an American treasure hunter, fortune seeker and businessman, as well as a friend, mentor and father figure to Drake.
The studio said late Friday it has pushed Uncharted from its December 18, 2020 release date to March 5, 2021.
Uncharted Movie Shut Down On Tom Holland’s FIRST Day Of Shooting
Quote:
Due to fallout from the coronavirus outbreak, the video game adaptation has experienced another delay. Originally slated for March 5, 2021, the movie is now scheduled for release on October 8, 2021. The fallout goes beyond that, per Heroic Hollywood, as Holland revealed that production shut down on his first day of filming. Holland’s comments were made during a recent appearance on Justin Bieber’s Instagram Live Q&A. “We showed up for our first day of shooting and they shut us down,” the actor said.
It’s been over a decade since work began on a movie based on Naughty Dog’s popular Uncharted games. In that time, the film has cycled through seven directors, five release dates, and a series of scripts and actors. But a new picture from star Tom Holland — who’ll be playing a younger version of series hero Nathan Drake — in full costume as the character gives the best evidence yet that the film is actually happening this time.
The shot is admittedly not much to go by — just a still of Holland in Drake’s cargo pants / henley combo and matching pistol holsters. But looking closely reveals the ring, which, in the game’s canon, belongs to Nathan’s maybe-ancestor Sir Francis Drake.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."

In a new interview with GQ, the Spider-Man star from South London said playing Drake in the film was sometimes "less about land a mark and go through this scene and more about land a mark, stand like this and see my bulging biceps...
"It was a mistake and is something that I will probably never do again."
It's worth looking in more detail at Holland's quote here. GQ sets it up by describing the Uncharted movie as having something in common with a Michael Bay action movie. Holland had to bulk up for the role, and he had to stand "looking cool".
"It was an experiment in vanity that left an odd taste in his mouth," GQ says.
