Well now you know not to post your own opinion before consulting the local experts chiv and nouse.

Let this be a lesson that you won't have to learn again.

Eh..doesn't matter if someone wants to say something in regards to the movie, not really going to change my opinion of whether or not I enjoyed the movie.

only read the first line what this film was about : biographic-drama of the Facebook creator
and i said to myself ... auto fucking skip Laughing ... sorry but watching a auto-biographic film about someone that created the "Troll Life style of Internetz" is pathetic , what's next a movie about the creator of P2P or Napster or Tweeter or Google lulz .... sorry but auto-biografic movies about X someone that brought nothing are crap... more films like Pianist {or The Pirates Of Silicon Valley}that show the real important biographies and less about celeb hype like Paris hitonmyboobsilostmymoneybecoazofasextape shit imo

Thought the same before watching it, but turned out good. Gives you a different perspective than the obvious one. Sure its a place for whores to show their boobs and how stupid they really are but it has a nice side too. Plus it appeals more to the geek side of facebook, programing and shit, at least that was interesting for me.

Define good taste. 2001: A Space Odyssey is considered one of the all-time greatest films, and I think it's a terrible piece of shit. So, whose taste is bad: mine or the critics' of the last 40 years? And why exactly? Easy to say something's shit and that someone who likes it has bad taste without explaining Wink

I can't even build a list yet though, still a ton of films from last year I gotta watch >_<

If I was to suggest that Meet The Spartans was a great movie, would you say I was wrong?

I'd say that I personally found it cheesy (just like I'm quite bored of American Pie 159876 or Scary Movie 8856), but if that's your thing, then by all means, it was a fine film. That's the problem with "taste": it's personal.

Now, had you described WHY it's a shit film in your opinion (crap acting, terrible story, horrible CGI), then it would be different. That's an opinion based on some objective observations, and not something as obscure and subjective as "taste" Wink

Just out of curiosity: what do you think of 2001 then? If you've ever (tried) watching it? Razz

I liked it (not even close to my favourite sci-fi nor my favourite kubrick film), but not really the kind of movie I could watch multiple times (in fact I've only watched it twice, and then the second time was only because the picture quality on the bluray got fantastic reviews).

oh, and for the record I think Meet The Spartans is absolute shit

True Grit
The Fighter
Black Swan
Inception
The Social Network

All equally awesome movies.

I dont know why but I dont like putting animated movies in my top 5 but I really liked Despicable Me, Toy Story 3 and Megamind.

We'll count those as honorable mention.
