And the DD version at EA's own store is 50 €, the same prices it has on Steam and thus more than a retail copy, as is the case with most games. Until EA tries to go down the Kotick route I doubt we will see a 60 € PC game.

When I click that link I see British prices, from a shitload of stores that probably don't even ship to the rest of Europe. British prices are often closer to US prices; I would order from there more often if it wasn't for the ridiculous shipping times + fees. Terrible experiences with the few shops "on the other side" that I've tried buying from; seems that the UK postal system sucks balls, shouldn't take 3 weeks for anything to get here >_<

When it comes to EA store, I bought form their UK store before anyway. It's cheaper... about 42€ for DA2 it seems. If I were to buy though, I'd prefer it be on Steam and that is 50€ as was mentioned.
Edit: Ordered some stuff from UK. Received packages on release date if pre-ordered, so no negative experience for me. Even with shipping costs, which are not that bad, it's still cheaper (especially if you pre-order since they tend to reduce the prices by some 10£).

I just wanted to give a quick example. You could get to various nation-specific versions of Amazon, Gamestop and others and find comparable prices. Btw, I ordered at a few of these stores to ship to Germany and never got any trouble.

g2ply offering keys for EA for 29.99 Euro(so it's basically buying the full game) for both Dead Space 2 and Dragon Age 2. I'm Lol'ing that you can get those games LEGALLY Quite cheap,even more then before,and the Official is more pricey then ever.

I think it's just the activation part worded that way along with multiplayer functionality hints or something like that.
EDIT: I have no idea though, perhaps Tages have been updated further or something.

Perhaps you're right, bud. It just seemed odd why the words were so specific about an internet connection being required. SolidShield games can generally be activated offline, as far as I know.

i have used two times ea store and first time i payd ~100e for bc2 some glitch in theyr system after ~3weeks got back ~50e and 20% discount shit that only works in US. second time had to wait 2 weeks to get my code and AGAIN 20% discount that only works in US. I live in europe and they "dont" have disconts codes here??? each time it took few hours of work to get money back/code. i only use steam now so no ea games for me then.

EA%10 or what it was works on occasion, 10% off any title or bunch of titles purchased, for digital stores the pricing is rather OK and with offers and these sort of coupon codes it's a bit cheaper than say Steam or Gamersgate, client is a bit of a annoyance now though as it's highly automated which can be bothersome for installations and storage though it's somewhat controllable.
(I prefer Gamersgate with the alternate country sites for price differences and more fair purchases but none of these digital stores are cheaper than most of the time.)
