I don't care if i'm supporting an intrusive copy protection, i'll buy a game if I think it's worth it.
A few kids boycotting the game until the warez version is released are hardly going to make a difference, stop being so pretentious.

i found on a website a carbon release of splinter cell using alcohol 120%
i haven't tested it yet because i haven't downloaded it yet.
but could it be working (even doing all that shit like uninstalling cd-roms)?

Well said. The game probably sold quite a few copies already. A few warez people not buying the game isnt going to hurt the sales significantly let alone stop protections such as starforce from being used. Having an opinion like that is almost as stupid as those petitiononline.com petitions. And $30 is really a small amount, especially considering the amount of games that most of us download.

SHOW ME WHERE THE FUCK IT SAYS IF I SHOULD USE A DVD BLANK OR DVD RW and i'll admit i'm the biggest lamer that is!
MY problem is that after burining the mini-image to the DVD RW it still shows as a blank DVD.
PS :Install Note

1 Unpack
2 Burn it with alcohol 120% 1.9.5 b2802( use profile: starforce 1/2/3)
3 Install the game
4 Disable all your IDE-CD/DVDROM( dont use sfnightmare or tools like that)
5 Put the burnned dvd into a USB interface DVD-ROM
6 Run the game, and enter this CDKEY:
7 Enjoy
from the nfo
that's from 7 pages before.

Well mayB in the US the game is 30 dollar, but in the Netherlands (Europe) the game is about 45 Euro (approximittly 57 Dollar) and that's just way too much compared with the US. I think we in Europe are being fucked with this price, cause if they can sell it so cheap in the US (23 Euro), why is it so expensive then?
But if they don't come up with a release within a week or the new daemon tools comes out within a week, I think I'm gonna buy it anyway, because this game is too cool to wait longer for.
BTW Is the new Daemon Tools going to be blacklisted with Starforce 3? Were they working with that blacklist problem?

they haven't released a new version of dtools since august, and now they are jumping from v3.47 directly to v4.... it gonna be funny

Well it says on the homepage that they are on 90% (a month ago) en beta testing will be soon. So I guess it won't take so much time from now (I hope).
And if this doesn't happen fast, maybe alcohol-soft comes with a new version of alcohol 120% witch isn't blacklisted anymore.
