(And escape after the game has started so you can change the menu options and preferences to what you want, controls, sound, UI, visuals and the like.)

Got a bit further (Got a nicer car, lost it, got a crap one.) and as was said there's a bit more actual driving now though the cutscenes are pretty bad and the voice acting is pretty low-quality but that's not really what the game focuses on, similar to say the cutscenes and story in X3 not being much in focus of that game. Smile

EDIT: Actual driving doesn't really feel much at all even after experimenting with the various options and aids, seems rather arcade like as does damage and visuals like particles but it might be enjoyable (In a better quality vehicle.) though I know very little about this sort of thing so I wouldn't be able to describe it accurately.
(There's no issues with just driving along and crashes doesn't do much than temporarily stopping your vehicle, at least so far things are pretty slow and casual, of course this is likely a tutorial section so probably intended.)

I hear speech (In English.), like I mentioned when I edited the post, also as I mentioned what I did first was to rename those archive files (RU to EN) so that might be why. Smile

EDIT: TSearch worked just fine for taking care of those financial problems.

Wonder if the game populates the world with bots, I've seen several named drivers now acting weirdly though so did I (Crashed their cars pretty roughly when I found some.), it's supposed to be offline but still who knows.

EDIT: Haha! personal touch achieved.


(Lack of funding prevented Y-O-U on the other side, size also prevented more prolonged sentence and the clutter on the hood was just to test logo placement and will be removed later on.)

EDIT: Scrapped, was a bit too obvious, next.


(Was thinking of adding the text "Trap" somewhere but couldn't get it to look good.)

Remember to take off the shirt you start with and put on the valet hat. It should go well with the pink car Laughing

Hah, well I'm mostly playing around and not being very serious at all though since it was a bit over the top and extremely obvious I was thinking that the black car and decals could have gotten me in trouble if the other players (bots?) whatever they are were actually real but this one is mostly clean, though a bit sexist since I wrote a bit on the backside of the car, can't be seen normally though so it should be safe until I ditch it for a better ride.

There is some AA available, possibly normal MSAA though as the previous set of images I posted (Earlier page?) I use 2x for performance reasons and I don't notice the so called "jaggies" much at all though obviously it's a bit different in still images than it's in the actual game.
(Edge-Detect filtering and Adaptive AA enabled so at 4x which enables Edge Detect it's a shader based solution comparable to roughly 12x MSAA so I only use it at older titles, takes a lot of performance and as it's shader data it also really heats up the GPU due to the extra workload added.)

Alas I can't read that high-level semi-coded language the file is in. Embarassed

To be a bit more serious about this unfortunate problem it's somewhat encoded or packed in this file called simply "options." (no extension.) under " C:\Users\UserNameForWIndows\Documents\Eden Games\Test Drive Unlimited 2\savegame\JB\PLAYERSAVE " so I can't work with it or anything either, sorry.

Shader data itself and all other stuff is under those .big/.map files so I can't do much with that either unfortunately unless unofficial modding utilities start surfacing for editing things a bit better, hacks for motion blur would likely be in very high regard so likely to be quickly created if possible. Wink

So in other words, it's hardcoded, amirite?

I believed it to be as such since there wasn't really anything in the file you mentioned(Ichecked it earlier).

Also, why did they remove the seat options? I used to drive in TDU with the seat pushed all the way back, it was much more comfortable. Now it's just claustrophobic, I can pass cars that are on my right.
