question...there is a 1.1 patch that fix alot of stuff ...my question is can i update the game ? or i have to wait for cracked patch ?

Improvements in collision and damage model have been made for several ships:

* Local time displayed (under the current date) when the mouse is over the current hour (bottom-right corner) in game; this local time will depend on the U-Boot position on Earth (which is divided in 24 slices having 15 longitudinal degrees each)

* Data from notepad (top-right section in periscopes or UZO pages) will not be reset on expert mode when the target in view is changing

As far as I know, there is no working crack for V 1.1 or 1.2. You can install the orignial game, and then install the patches, but there is no no-DVD crack for them yet.
Hopefully a 1.2 NO DVD crack or a 1.2 cracked update will come out soon.

No, that crack doesn't work. If you want to see what .reg files are doing just Right Click -> Edit.
this clone release works with the aforementioned USB trick, you need to download the MDS below because the one they packed in this release doesn't contain DPM.

i wonder who is going through these StarForce releases and changing the 1 digit in every key, just like the Splinter Cell pizzahut release. also makes me wonder why the MDS packed in it has no DPM, maybe whoever changed the key also replaced the MDS with blank DPM...

Two part question:
1. Why would the mds crack/fix work with the Reptil clone version and not the Reloaded one? I have the Reloaded version I got from BitTorrent, and no crack will work, except the one it came with for verson 1.0 only.
2. Anyone body know of some "other" forums I might browse other than this and GameCopy world? I need some help finding things. Emule is taking forever

I finally DLed the Reptile version, and I cant not get the "trick" to work. The trick Im referring to is patching to 1.3, and then using the info in the Readme First.txt file in the All Versions Crack.
I follow the instructions by running SHIII with CTRL held down, and Ive tried entering various serial #s, and then mounting 2 different versions of the mds file with Alcohol 120. Ive tried mounting with and without CDs Deactived using Star Fuck.
Nothing works.
Anyone have any luck?
