Couldn't find a sell option myself, thought the car I won over that chick was wasted.
Once you visit the used cardealer to pickup that ride, you get an option to sell.
(my garage slots were used tho, so I dunno where the hell they left that option at)
Multiplayer only maybe ? Very Happy

And uuh is the proper needed, or will the crack do?
Also, can I block this thing from going online in the hostfile or whatever, aint using a Firewall.

Two questions -

1. Is the performance of the retail version (Reloaded) better than QA version (Skidrow)? I was getting a measly 30-40 fps at 1920x1200 on a Quad 3.5GHz w/2x460's. Totally crap performance for what it should have been imo.

2. Is the casino add-on exclusive to those that pre-ordered only? Honestly I'm more interested in the gambling than the driving - I hate driving games.

The casino is going to be available for eveyone, I think right now is only available for thos ewho pre-ordered, but the developers said that they are going to release it as DLC so anyone can buy it (or maybe it's free?) and use it.

edit: People on the official forums and other places are saying that the 'retail' version is also the "QA vXXXX" crap, so I believe we need the patch anyway to play the 'proper' (v100 or wathever) version.

instead they are called bigfile_EU

And v0.55... so there is no change gameplay-wise, like optimization and stuff like that and we need the 400mb patch? Sad

I'm assuming that the v069 is better than the 0.55, maybe I'm wrong and the previous build was better and that's why they released that one Laughing

I have i5-2500K @ 4.2GHz, 1xGTX 460 1Gb @ 800MHz, 8 Gig RAM and min FPS is 45, avarage is near 60. I'm playing in 2560*1440 0xAA, everything maxed out, vsync on.

P.S. I'm using russian release (skidrow)

CPU differences, you use a quad as well and the most recent model available plus overclocked to above the top-specifics of the 2600K one.

GPU is the same but the game does not utilize Crossfire or SLI very well at all and might even scale negatively at the moment (Disabling Crossfire/SLI increases performance instead of decreasing it is what I mean, there seems to be some scaling though but it's not very much and very effective.) so overall you would likely see better results there as well.

Memory is also very high though as a 32-bit application it only uses 2 - 3 GB at most and likely not even that much, unsure about RAM speeds and other info but seeing the other specification you use they're probably above average as well. Smile

(AA isn't used either unless you perhaps force it via the NVCP which apparently gives better results than the in-game settings which are pretty demanding and doesn't cover that much, specific methods like SSAA and MLAA might be even better but will be very demanding in terms of performance, as will edge-detect, adaptiv-aa and such modes.)


EDIT: Unsure about the version numbering but it might just be region specific though Q&A is a odd thing to see as it would sort of indicate a testing release or similar.
(Perhaps 0.5x is retail and 0.6x is digital with the other number being region based?)

on the tdu2 site it says the casino is worth 10$ so expect it to cost that once its available as DLC.

pre order bonuses are a fucking joke i would buy TDU2 if i could get the casino with it but seeing as you had to preorder they can fuckthemselfs.

im waiting for shift2 anyway

JBeckman, thanks for advice with AA. Will try, cuz ingame 2x eats about 20% fps and 4x eats about 40%, thats too much. There may be another reason of huge fps drop with AA - GTX 460 has only 1G of video memory, that's not enough for WQHD with AA.

this game doesnt use 1gb of video memory

heres a random shot i took yesterday with 4xaa and the game is using 682mb , aa is barely a hit for me :S

Good for you, bro. Your resolution is 1600x900 is 2,5 times lower that WQHD that is 2560x1440, it's 1.44M vs 3.69M. For my resolution game uses bigger amount of video memory Wink

That's a VRAM problem, none of the HD5/HD6/GTX4xx/GTX5xx cards lose *any* performance from 2x -> 4x (MS)AA, unless they run out of of memory Smile

900mb with 32xaa and every other nvidia CP setting maxed.
seriously i want him to install afterburner cos i doubt hes using over 1gb

I defended this game while in Beta, I didn't think it was as bad as people were saying. I retract everything positive I said about this game, it's gash.

Crap with a pad, and with my Thrustmaster FFB Pro (which every one of the SIX other driving games I have recognizes instantly) I had to set each control manually from keyboard settings. Rumble but no feedback. HUUUUGE understeer. It's a driving game for crying out loud. How they fuck up something so fundamentally vital to the genre? Uninstalled with extreme prejudice.
