i would love this shit to be like NFSU2.... but....
with a GIANT map (10x as big as nfsu2)...
driving your car in SUNlight for once...
free ride mode with outrun and better AI...
cop chases...
more freedom...
better and more more more various car tuning options...
damage physics...
less corny hip-pop taglines...
etc...
i doubt any of this will make the game tho... :S

The tuning possibilities in NFS:U and NFS:U2 were pathetic. In order to advance in the game you were required to make your car look like a piece of shit. "Tuning" doesn't mean slapping ugly stickers and a bunch of gaudy fiberglass junk on your car, despite what EA seems to think. The actual performance upgrades available had zero depth at all and boiled down to "pick the brand you like best." |
I liked that "sticker shit" alot. It was nice to upgrade ya car like fast 2 furious.
But thats for who likes it....

November? This is going to be another rushed NFSU2 clone, with BMWs and Cops. I'd like to bet it isn't going to have damage either, sure maybe BMW would licence they're cars to get riced out, and maybe even to be chased by cops, but I really doubt they will have allowed damage.
And, if we remember NFS:High Stakes, sure, it had cop chases.. but you couldn't use every car in hot pursuit mode... Maybe we will see a repeat of this?

And actually, fyi, since BMW IS Rear wheel drive, it does need a big spoiler on the back, unlike kids who have front wheel drive cars and a bigass spoiler on hte back |
Actually , you have no clue .
Spoilers generate downforce , downforce sticks the car to the road like a leech , at high speeds it is a must , and no matter if its front wheel drive , RWD or all-wheel-drive ...
actually as a big car\tuning fan i was surprised how that M3 is NOT riced out , simple have a widebody kit and a nice simple artwork , although i hate the underground series and all those "tuning" wanna be games that come out that completely change the art of tuning ... its not that easy as just 1. change X , 2. add turbo and your set .
that is not called riced out -
M3 is the best class BMW has ever created and one of the best cars ever made , specially the 97 on based on e36 . the M stands for the M tuning shop , its an official tuning shop that is supervised and funded by BMW , M tunes all BMW's for race spec .
M3's engine is an artwork , 6 cyl inline generating around 330 HP - no turbo , only BMW is known for making strong engines like that - no forced induction of any kind , actually they are so superior the new M5 is known to own ferrari's ... lambos and other exotic machines on STOCK , cars that are 5 times more costly . dont diss BMW .
Never had high hopes for NFS:U series as they dont reflect the true tuning \ racing culture . and the riced out GTO on the last gameplay movie .. the one with flames , is crap .

Haha stop kidding yourself. If you by a ferrari mean an old ferrari then sure. But if you compare the NEW m5 you have to be fair and compare it to the new ferraris and lamborghinis.
I dont want or care to go into specifics but just look at these numbers:
BMW M5 0-62mph in 4.7s
FERRARI F430 F1 0-62mph in 4.0s
Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster 0-62mph in 3.8s
And then you have alot of porches down in and under 4 seconds.
