i only got back NAO! freakin net died on me at 9:30ish am yesterday... at first it was a big ol' laugh, like when the power goes out, and you turn on the candles and its kinda fun... but then the shakes set in when you realise theres no fucking pc or tv and the walls start closing in on you and you cant breath and....and... ok, im good... im good... its ok... im fine...
so yeah i had to type the above message on my cellphone, which is a pretty old little thing, then i went to bed and cried.
bought a new router on a hunch, and it turned out my old router up and died on meh... so its good, im back, and ready to pi-RAT!

rather cool side effect... replacing my 87 year old router with a shiny new one, has doubled my download speed... how cool is that?
i can now download at 30kbs!
i kid, i kid.. but yeah, i can get a combined average of over 1mb/s easily... higher if i get a good well behaved file or two... im sure thats still NOTHING for you lot, but for me, its pretty freakin sweet... especially given that i used to be able to hit... at best, a combined speed of 500kbs

I try to do my part the best I can. I am huge recycler, I do it the proper way too. The same people that can bitch at me IRL, throw all sorts of shit out into the garbage because they are too lazy to clean out cans and rip paper off, do distructive things to the environment, litter, dump oil, paint thinners down drains, medication. I just try to make as little garbage as possible, garden my veggies to a extent. Compost.
When I kayak on Van island I actually pick up other peoples garbage and burn it in the fire, pick up cans and bottles too. I shit where I am suppose too, the tidal zones. I even will stop and fish plastic bags outta the ocean.
Soo if there is a balance in all this I hope I am not on the end of the all consuming human void.

Yea, you do still have to conserve water. That is what that whole low volume flush toilet thing is about. The whole water waste thing, processing it for consumption. Some places run low in the summer.
