A really quality new series by FX. Amazing how this seemingly low-key channel has been producing some of the best shows on American TV for years now.
This show to me is quite up there with The Wire and Damage's first season. Not quite at the show's peak, but amazing potential is there. The cast is very strong, and no action is forced for the retards that can't enjoy quality. That's not to say there is no action involved, as the show is very violent at times, but everything is within context.
As usual with most brilliant shows, it requires viewing of more than one episode to appreciate (so any of you with ADHD, get out now). Luckily, there are already five episodes out, so go go go.  |

I had the first two episodes sitting on my drive for a long time, but always something came up and I postponed viewing. Within fifteen minutes of watching the first episode, I hurried to download the other available episodes.

It isn't that much about the sport. Sure there is some boxing and dealing with that, but I wouldn't say it is about sport. I hate boxing and found the show very good.

Watching it now and liking so far - this show might die an early death tho, ratings are taking a dive and I think I saw somewhere they've pretty much killed the ad campaign for the show.

Watched all the eps and not too impressed. Compared to Terriers this show is ZZZZzzzzz....... FFUUUUUUUU FX.
