If you mean the "old constitution" as in the american 1776 constitution it did FOR SEE the current problems, economical.
The constitution states, that no federal or national bank should be in place, and that the treasury controls money, based on gold and silver prices.
It also states that the American Money needs to be backed by either silver or gold, anything else is unconstitutional.
Both of these are untrue today, we have a federal bank (federal reserve, which isn't federal at all) and the american money has not been backed by gold since the 30s.
Funny how Kennedy was going to follow the Constitution have the treasury print money backed by silver, and dismantle the federal reserve, but he was assassinated.
And also by the fact during those times, their were all kinds of "political parties" not just republican and democrat. I fucking HATE how people talk "democrat this" or "republican that"
There is no difference between the two, its all a game to fool the American people.
