Well postage doesn't arrive on a sunday even with special delivery. so if the auction ends late on a friday the earliest they can post it is on a saturday ruling out a sunday delivery

What about the people selling the stuff? They want the auction to end at a time when people will be home. Just because you're available 24 hours a day to bid on the auction, doesn't mean everyone else is. If you've every sold anything on ebay (yes, I've sold lots and lots) you know that when it ends is very important because many bids come right up until the end.

Yeah, Sunday afternoon is probably the best time for an auction to end. But it's a good technique if you're buying to find an auction that ends at a wierd time (middle of the day/night). You can really steal some of the auctions like this.

yea i got 2 tickets off there for 18 quid they were 15 quid each to buy before they sold out. now from the same seller they're going at 30+
